Cleanliness and rare kindness

Clean, welcoming, and in a great location. Already upon entering the corridor to the rooms, you can notice a pleasant scent of cleanliness. Professional staff, spacious room, and a very comfortable bed. When I return to Munich, I already know where I’ll book.

Surprisingly wonderful!!!

Don’t let the narrow hallway fool you. The room was spacious and very clean! Conveniently located one block from the main train station, I can’t say enough positive about this room. Hotels are often sketchy by train stations but not this one. The bedding was luxurious!

This hotel had great qualities for being in a budget friendly price range. Friendly reception and bag check, spacious rooms with a large bed, comfortable shower and a fan to cool the room. Although the laundry room was a bit rough around the edges it acted as an added bonus as we are staying in Europe for a while. Only disadvantage is the 15-20 minute walk to the heart of the old town. Would recommend if comfort > location.

The hotel is clean and cozy. There is lots of kitchen appliances in the room. The staff are nice. We did not have breakfast so I can't comment on that. The location is preety convenient, just 10 minutes of walking from central bus station and teo metro stops from historical center.

Good hotel but weird area.

The hotel itself was excellent. Great shower. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed etc. but l was not prepared for the deprivation on the street immediately outside the front door. It is quite shocking on first arrival…..and on departure come to that although l appreciate that this is clearly a social problem and is in no way the fault of the hotel. Having said that, l experienced no hassle from the assembled throngs outside. However, l would certainly not take children to that part of town, no way.

The temperature outside was about 9 degrees C / 48 degrees F. In my room the temperature was always 24 C / 76 F. The hotel checked and the heat was off. If I opened the windows the room would cool down. As soon as I closed the windows the temperature would rise back up within an hour.

No AC- Do not stay in summer

I’ve stayed at this hotel brand previously. Apparently all other locations have AC, but not this one. Rooms had fans, but most were broken and didn’t work properly. I returned several for replacement, but never got one that worked. Sweltering hot room, no relief. The worst night I’ve ever spent in a hotel. Zero sleep.

We booked for 2+1 days. On the first day when we walked into our room, we found two people already in the room sleeping there. They said that it was a mistake so they gave us new rooms and said that as it was their mistake they would let us keep the new rooms until we checked out. On the second day they told us we had to change to our original rooms, so we had to spend more than an hour packing up all our belongings and moving. On the third day from 6:15pm we could hear drilling sounds from upstairs and we told reception. However the noise continued. We went again and went with the reception to find the room that had the drilling noises and asked them to stop. However this was a private room not owned by the hotel so they kept drilling. The hotel also has cooking available but you have to rent cookingware. The tall young man at the reception was very helpful and nice.

Nice hotel for a couple nights

The hotel staff was friendly. The cleaner in the morning knocked several times before my check-out time and had a bad attitude. I booked the hotel because it had a kitchen but came to find out there wasn’t a single pot or pan to be used. The room was nice with a lot of natural light. No AC, but a small fan.
