Ghost mansion B&B
Came to Birmingham to attend the Katt Williams Heaven on Earth comedy event at the Legacy Arena on February 8th. Get to the mansion at 4pm, and the front door is locked. Doorbell doesn't work which is weird for a business that claims to have staff on the premises. Call the main customer service number to the mansion and it goes to voicemail. I never received a callback from the mansion staff on Feb 8th to get in the mansion to check in at all! My girlfriend was totally unsatisfied with the unprofessional service by this establishment towards us for our 1st Bed and Breakfast experience. Totally lost $148.33 and ended up at a national hotel chain that same day with free happy hour and breakfast amenities. I will definitely stick to better professional hotel/B&B establishments in the future.

Beautiful Eclectic Gem of a stay
Throw back to an earlier time-everywhere you looked there were memorabilia from the early 1900s The hostess has a keen eye to detail and hospitality. Loved the excellent breakfast served each morning and the opportunity to connect with other guests around the table. I would not consider it to be a kid friendly place, because there are so many delicate/fragile pieces around the mansion. We would definitely return and stay here again.

LOVED this bed and breakfast. It's extremely central and walkable to great restaurants. The owner allowed me to check in early and rest after a long flight. The home is absolutely beautiful and decorated to the period however, it boasts all the modern amenities and facilities. While I was unable to stay for the hot breakfast she made sure to leave a grab-and-go breakfast for me in the morning. 10 stars

This was a very unique and interesting property with lots of history and a cool vibe. The owner/resident manager was welcoming, thorough, and obviously loves her historically designated B&B. It was perfect for my short stay and convenient to everything downtown Birmingham or in my case, Samford University.

One of the most fascinating properties we’ve ever stayed in we had the Camelot suite so we had King Arthur and Guinevere and his horse plus a lovely bath. We would definitely go there again and recommend it to others. The downstairs is pure Victorian it’s unbelievable.
