I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel. I booked a room expecting a comfortable environment, but upon arrival, I discovered that the air conditioning was not working—during an ongoing heat wave.
The receptionist informed us that the AC had been out of order for the past two weeks. This is unacceptable and should have been clearly communicated to us before we booked. Had we known, we would have made alternative arrangements.
We were offered unlimited water as compensation, which is insufficient given the circumstances. We were on a long journey and specifically chose your hotel to rest and recover for the next day of travel. The extreme heat and lack of sleep severely impacted our well-being. In fact, my father was unable to drive the following day due to exhaustion and as a diabetic on insulin needed sleep. Which was impossible in the above 28 degrees inside the room with no window that we could open and one small fan.
I expect a partial or full refund for this stay, as the room did not meet basic standards of comfort or transparency. I hope you will treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves.
