Enjoyable late season visit

It was a nice trip and visit overall, staff was very friendly and helpful. The place needs updating for sure, bathroom floors looked very worn and paint was cracked and peeling. Would definitely benefit from some basic updates and redecorating. Restaurant menu is basic offerings, similar menu for lunch and dinner, quality was and 8 out of 10. Good, but lacking anything that made it special. Hotel price was a little high for the quality, but the convenient location, great staff and wonderful valet service all made it a great visit. Would definitely return.

Place is great and convenient, check in is 4pm but even at 4.30pm our room wasn’t ready, is there only one room maid? Valet parking guy was so busy we ended up getting our own car from the lot after tipping the guy 😂. Tip of the day, hire more people!

No sheets or pillow cases for pull out couch most hotels when there are three people registered and a king size bed with a pull out will make sure sheets and pillow cases are in a zipped bag. Coffee bar was horrible. No hot chocolate for kids, coffee was cold and no flavor bottles anymore. They used to have flavor shots and now it’s just fake cream packets. Room windows were filthy for the price you pay for ocean front. People above us were loud and partying until 2am, not hotels fault but there is no phone in room to call front desk and complain and if you call the website number no one answers. Valet was excellent and front desk guy was great.

Great beachfront vacation

The hotel is a bit dated, but the service, people food and location are fantastic! Located right on the beach, you can walk to the board walk and the sand. Local shops offer fast food and indoor upscale dining within walking distance. The beach has a stage and half shell which had bands each night. Fireworks on Wednesday night. Balcony on many rooms. A little pricey, but a nice vacation spot.

Our Deluxe King room was very clean and had a side balcony which had a nice view of the ocean. We stayed over on a Tuesday/Wednesday so we could see the Fireworks display on Wed eve- which is always great. The downside of our stay was the air conditioner would turn off/on throughout the overnight and was very loud and woke us every time (room 366). Disappointed that we looked down on the rooftop over the pool and it was in disrepair. Also, the menu selection in the restaurant at the bar was extremely limited. IDK if we sat at a table if the menu would have been more expansive? But, that was very disappointing. Would I stay here again? Probably not.

Not worth the pricetag

Prime location across the street from the beach so paying higher rate is expected but it's not worth the pricetag - condition of the building is rundown, no running water in the restroom off the lobby, room not cleaned properly with empty drink cups on the balcony and bobby pins on the bathroom counter so you know that wasn't wiped, no noise cancelling efforts so room was very loud with traffic and voices outside, horrible bed, no in room phone to easily call front desk, no in room directory with local information, photos online are misleading making it look nicer than it is. Don't recommend for families - really just good as a place to crash after the beach for the partying crowd.

I was disappointed with my stay. The listing advertised a gym, but there was no gym available. Upon entering my room, I noticed a dirty towel on the balcony floor, chip crumbs on the desk chair, and a wrapper under the desk—clear signs that the room wasn’t properly cleaned. The lobby and restaurant areas are visually appealing, and the staff was friendly, but unfortunately, the food was overpriced for its subpar quality. I also attempted to use the pool, but it looked murky and unclean, which made me uncomfortable swimming in it. For the cost of the stay, it simply wasn’t worth it. I’ve stayed at more affordable hotel/motels that were cleaner and more enjoyable. I had higher expectations based on the price and appearance of the entrance, but sadly, I was wrong.

Fine but hassle-filled check-in experience

Nice location for super easy beach access. Suitable rooms but not a great stay due to check-in error. Upon check-in the front desk seemed confused about which room to assign me. The younger guy at the desk even called his supervisor to confirm he had the right room #. When I got to 'my' room someone was already in there. Had to head back down to get a new room, which was challenging as I was solo with my young son and luggage. Got my room re-assigned by a different older guy at the front desk who barely shrugged an apology at me being given an occupied room. When the younger guy who'd first checked me in overheard and tried to apologize, the older guy got power trip-y and shut him down. In any other situation like this I've been given something comped, or at least a more hearty apology, but this hotel didn't seem to care. The room was fine. Don't expect anything luxurious; i.e., super small towels First visit to Hampton Beach--if I return, it won't be to here. They definitely could have built more goodwill by being more apologetic about their mistake. Other staff we encountered were nice.
