Bon rapport qualité-prix

Petit hôtel bien situé, à l'écart de la foule et pas trop loin des restaurants. Chambre spacieuse, bien climatisée, personnel serviable. Piscine au calme. Parking très facile. Seul bémol : restaurant fermé pendant notre séjour, donc pas moyen d'avoir un petit snack sur place le midi.

Familiär und freundlich

Wir haben uns im Hotel Andrea Doria sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, gab gute Tips für Ausflüge und Restaurants in der Umgebung und immer erreichbar. Das sehr leckere Frühstück könnten wir jeden Morgen an einem schattigen Plätzchen draussen geniessen. Der Pool wurde ständig gepflegt und lud zur Abkühlung ein. Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel!

Good hotel, great staff

We had a great stay. The staff were so helpful, especially Daniela, who spoke good English, as did Annalisa. Daniela organised trips for us on request and the airport shuttle worked well. The hotel was at the end of the town, with a good restaurant nearby. The only disappointment was that the hotel advertises it has it's own restaurant and bar. The restaurant is not open at all and the bar is basically some bottles in the hotel reception.

Small, friendly hotel

Hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful. Responded to our e-mails re taxi transfer from airport etc. and kindly arranged this for us. Facilities were good. However, Expedia intimated there was a restaurant. Don't know if this only open in the peak season but the hotel restaurant wasn't open in the evenings. Restaurants were available within a 5 minute walk. Breakfast was great with a good variety of fresh food. Well run hotel on the quiet end of town. Lots of access to facilities such as massage treatments, bicycle hire and private beach hire. Resort a great size, small community and very friendly. Good mix of marina, beach and cafes. Sea was very clear, beaches clean and sandy. Good shower facilities on beach. Water sports available in season

Very nice hotel with lovely pool, close to beach

A truly pleasing hotel and indeed holiday. The hotel had a lovely swimming pool and was very close to the beach. It had a discount with one the beach clubs for sun beds and umbrellas. Hotel also had bikes for hire at cheap rates. Marina di Ragusa is pretty resort town, with great restaurants, bars and beaches. Very close to the set for various episodes of Montalbano too!

Da consigliare

L'hotel è sul lungomare di Marina di Ragusa in una bella posizione anche se è un pò lontano rispetto alla "movida" del centro che la sera è veramente affollato. Le camere sono ampie e pulite, con un bel terrazzo vista mare e tutti i confort. Non sono stata in spiaggia perché ho visitato l'entroterra (assolutamente da vedere Ragusa, Scicli, Modica, Noto, Piazza Armerina) ma ho fatto un bagno nella bella piscina dell'hotel. Considerato il costo dell'hotel, il buffet della colazione è migliorabile perché non offre molto. Nel complesso è comunque un hotel da consigliare.

Vivamente consigliato. Personale molto cordiale, gentile e disponibile. Buona la prima colazione a buffet internazionale. Ho soggiornato in una camera con vista mare con piccolo balcone, molto pulita e confortevole molto tranquillo anche di notte niente traffico Parcheggio interno...piscina...cosa pretendere di più??

Hotel molto curato, persone cordialissime e disponibilissime a suggerire ristoranti e locali. ristorante annesso buono (suggerisco verdure e pesce pastellato fritto). Prezzi nella norma. Io ho fatto tappa per visitare Ragusa, Modica, Scicli. alle camere si accede dall'esterno, forse non è una trovata geniale se si vuole utilizzare l'Hotel in stagioni fredde.

Nella categoria ottimo, gradevole e comodo

Pur essendo abitualmente in questa zona, avendo dei lavori di ristrutturazione nella mia casa poco distante (a 2 km dall'hotel) ho soggiornato per due giorni trovando così l'opportunità di riposare e di rilassarmi. Avevo notato in precedenza l'hotel e l'aver utilizzato la struttura mi ha piacevolmente sorpreso. Belle camere tutte con balcone, ottimo servizio, piacevolissimo giardino con piscina.

Ideales Quartier für entspannten Aufenthalt

Das Hotel liegt am östlichen Rand der Uferpromenade von Marina di Ragusa. Unweit des Hotels findet man einen noch nicht zum Baden erschlossenen Strand und ein Naturschutzgebiet. In maximal 20 Minuten Gehweite erreicht man die Bars und Restaurants in der Nähe des touristischen Hafens. Das Hotel ist schön ruhig, das Personal ist sehr bemüht. Das Hotel ist eher kleiner, so dass keine Massenabfertigung entsteht.

Nice small hotel with friendly atmosphere

We had an okay experience in Andrea Doria, which is a nice hotel, located 500 meters from the city center, but on the coast-line. The hotel has it's own private beach, but we never tried it, as nobody gave a proper explanation of where it was and alternative beaches are just as close. In fact we were told that beach belonging to the hotel, was further down the street, so it didn't really make sense to look around for it. It is a small boutique hotel with a friendly atmosphere and quiet surroundings.

Would definitely go back

If you find yourself driving through Sicily, Marina di Ragusa is worth a stop. The beach is lovely -- it's sandy and stretches for miles. We enjoyed the contemporary features of this hotel -- the earthy colors and clean look and feel. The staff, too, was fantastic about accommodating us - in terms of providing recommendations for meals, places to visit, and basic logistics pertaining to internet and phone accessibility.
