10/10 do NOT recommend. I've never been treated so poorly by a staff member in a hotel. It started off great with check-in, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. We only stayed 3 nights and I was traveling alone with 2 small children. During the second night, at 11:30pm, long after we all fell asleep, the phone rings in the room. I missed the phone because I was asleep and I was confused by what was ringing. I assumed someone called the room by accident, given the time. Then suddenly, someone starts banging on door. I was afraid to open the door but did anyway. Hotel security was standing there, he told me there was an issue with my credit card and if I don't resolve the issue at the front desk by midnight, he threatened to evict us from the room. I told him I couldn't leave because my children were sleeping. I called the front desk and the woman was extremely rude, repeating the same thing hotel security said. She claimed my credit card was declined and I had to come downstairs if I wanted to continue my stay. She also refused to accept my credit card over the phone. When I told her my children were sleeping and I couldn't leave, she said "we have cameras, your kids will be fine". Against my better judgment, I went downstairs, only to find out this entire problem was over a $14.95 resort fee! I have never been treated so poorly in a hotel, this should NEVER have happened, it was completely unacceptable to be threatened at 11:30pm at night. I will never stay again.
