When we made it there they didn’t tell me that they had a problem with a water leak so we did not have water on our first day we had to go take showers at families house I checked in at 4 and once I checked in a lot of the tenants said the water had been out since 1 pm and was very unhappy that’s the only problem that made our stay there unpleasant because I had kids and we had to go to the gas station to use the restroom

First of all communication between the facility and Expedia should be improved. Although I booked days before they were not able to see my reservation in their system. As a result they didn't reserve a room for us and because of plumbing issue they couldn't offer a room. Luckily they were able to transfer us to neighboring facility for what I am grateful.

Quiet and cozy. Nice patio view of lake. The ONLY bad thing about this place is as SOON as you open patio door or front door the bugs sworm in. And I don’t mean just a few. LOL. Hundreds! Besides that…..loved it.

Resort is about an hour north of Houston. We stayed here while visiting the Texas Renaissance Faire, which is about 45 minutes away. Nothing is really close since you need to drive around the lake to get anywhere. Shopping and restaurants are 20-30 minutes away. Unit was large and had 2 master bedrooms (one upstairs) with attached baths, which worked great for us (2 couples). One of the things I didn't like was having to take a shower in the soaking tub. It didn't feel safe as a senior trying to get in and out. A walk-in shower would have been better in at least one of the bathrooms! Loved the balcony overlooking the lake (literally). You could fish off the balcony! Resort even rented fishing poles. They also had games and puzzles to check out, which we took advantage of. Office has limited hours, and pool is closed on Mondays for cleaning. They also have tennis and basketball. Resort is small and not much else to do on site. Most businesses in the area are not open Mondays (and some Tuesdays too), so we rented a pontoon from 1097 Watersports and boated around the lake. Resort is a nice place to stay if you will be in the area. Unit had everything we needed. Would stay here again
