The Location of the Hotel was quiet convenient despite the hilly walk from the transits. The Crew member was very nice and professional, speaking good English, Providing top-class assistants. The Room I stayed wasn't as neat as the picture shows. That the only thing off. Good enough over all.

Unterkunft in der Nähe der bekannten Moscheen Istanbuls fernab vom Trubel. Leider ließ sich die Klimaanlage unseres Zimmers nicht runterregulieren, sodass es nachts (selbst im Winter) viel zu warm war.

everything was good except that it was not easy to find plus it was in the interior and the traffic was horrible. However, it is in walking distance to the Blue Mosque and Haggia Sophia, so if you are athletic, and likes the walks, you will be fine.. I say the staff are tops

Highly recommended
Excellent characterful hotel- built around a garden courtyard in which you can find the restaurant which is most excellent! Possibly the best in the area, good food supported by very attentive and pleasant staff. Speaking of which the staff were all absolutely wonderful special shout outs to Mrs Merve who sorted the transfer from airport and Mr Elvin who sorted out local events. Special thanks also to the hotel cat for providing cat related home comforts. Situated 5 minutes from the hippodrome and blue Mosque, say 10 mins from Hagia Sophia and 15 from Topkapi. 15 minutes the other way to the Grand Bazaar . I can whole heartedly recommend !

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und man kann die Altstadt und diverse Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell zu Fuß erreichen. Das Personal ist freundlich. Das Hotel ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen unserer Zimmer war sehr klein, im Bad könnte man kaum die Sachen hinstellen und der Wandschrank war auch Mini obwohl wir nur wenig Kleidung für 4 Tage dabei hatten. Das Bad roch muffig und hatte einige Schimmelecken und von der Decke blätterte die Farbe ab. Wirklich blöd war, das wir so gut wie keine Tageslicht im Zimmer hatten, da die Fenster sehr klein waren, und auch nicht in der Mitte sondern in Fußbodenhöhe, so kam so gut wie kein Licht rein.Das Frühstück war ausreichend und konnte zwischen 8-9.30 eingenommen werden. Zusammengefasst wenn man wenig Anspruch hat kann man es ein paar Tage hier aushalten aber wir würden es nicht nochmal buchen obwohl die Lage wirklich super war.

Very poor AC, No Parking and broken Jacuzzi
All I am going to say is that the hotel is advertised incorrectly. There is no parking option. Paid street parking os the only option and that cost $20 per night - The hotel management absolutely did not care. The AC broke in our room that was at the top of the building, and the noise and temperature was unbearable - eventually we were moved to a different room. In both rooms the advertised Jacuzzi bath was not working properly. For €155 per night this was a disgrace. If you threw a stone in any direction you would hit 10 other hotel options that I would try before going back again.

Finalmente un po' di relax ad Istanbul
Abbiamo passato 5 giorni ad Istanbul in due diversi hotel. Il Garden House è stato l'unico posto in cui ci siamo riusciti a rilassare veramente. Per non parlare del buffet a colazione: squisito!

We are so pleased that we chose to stay at the Garden House Hotel. Our room was excellent. The air conditioning and internet worked brilliantly. The breakfast set us up for the day, meaning we only needed a snack for lunch before an evening meal. The staff were friendly and super efficient. It is in a brilliant area with the main sights within a walking distance. The only reservation that I would stress is that there isn’t a lift. Also it is at the bottom of a very steep hill. However, Istanbul is based on hills, so not a great place for people with mobility issues. Within walking distance there are lots of great restaurants. The hotel restaurant is extra special and we had our most memorable meal of the holiday. We were so pleased with the hotel, if we ever go back to Istanbul, we’d definitely look to stay here again!

Highly recommend!
My friend and I stayed here for our first visit in Istanbul. We loved everything about the hotel. It is walking distance to all the big attractions. The service is above and beyond. It is very cute. And the food in the restaurant is good. Would definitely stay again.
