Stay somewhere else!!
They have no soda machines but they do at the front desk. For two sodas, they charged us $7.00. Wow. Then they added billing charges and amenity fees that other people charged to our room (without our permission) and got away with it. There was nothing they could do. I’m really disappointed in the service provided. No more Hotel Contessa for me!

House hunting
Stayed this past weekend, it was quiet due to COVID-19 but the service was fantastic. The concierge gave us a discount for the Chart House I had dinner at and the bellhops were outstanding.

La Contessa is luxury at its finest
Amazing property conveniently located, unfortunately due to obvious world health issues things weren’t hopping the way you would expect during normal times, that of course is no fault of the La Contessa in fact they made us feel safe and comfortable.

Overall the stay was okay. Getting my car from valet took forever! I don’t think that the lady at the front desk even called for it.

Very Nice Hotel
Our stay was very nice. The girl at the front desk was was friendly and inviting. The pull out couch mattress needs to be replaced. The springs are popping out through the fabric. The other two beds are wonderful!! Very nice pillows and bedding. We had a drink at the bar and all three of them were weak. I am not a drinker but at least put some alcohol in the margarita. The pool and spa was nice.

The suite was suppose to be river view, but it was actually over the patio. There was a glimpse of the river, but more of the street and bridge. The room looked very nice and the layout was great. The air conditioning on the other hand, was not so great. It was hot pretty much until the middle of the night when the room actually got below 75 degrees
