THERE WAS NO HOT WATER until the morning the following day. There was NO SOAP, NO SHAMPOO, and there was old trash in the bins.

Never would have stayed here if I hadn’t paid in advance and was past refund time. Check in was very strange. There was a coffee machine in lobby for guests. When I asked what time in the morning coffee would be available he said it wouldn’t be because the coffee machine is broken. He Insisted on copy of my companions ID. When I asked why I was told it was company policy. Explained I thought that unusual as I had stayed at this company’s properties many times and even recently and it never required this. Anyhow he insisted, so Went out to car and had my companion come in. When she also commented on this unusual policy was told it’s incase the police have to identify who is supposed to be in the room and the hotel manager required it. Explained we are a couple old ladies and we’re not expecting an encounter with police. Didn’t want to provide me with copy of receipt for deposit saying that it was refundable. It was an unsettling experience I’ve never had before at a check in. Walking the hall we saw obvious damage to a few doors and jams that had been painted and sawdust remained in those doorways from repairs. Appears the doors had been kicked in at some point. When I mentioned it to local family members they apologized for not telling me to stay anywhere but there as it is where local parolees are often housed and it is known as a troubled place

They are doing to ask for an deposited So be prepair an extra money for this. Door is noisy when it open or close. I went to check out 30 minutes early but no staff in the office I have to look and ask around couldn't find a reception. When I come back he in the office and try to charge me for checking out late at 11 am

First of all, the hotel is tucked back from the roadway and was difficult to find. The hotel clerk was friendly and helpful but the hotel itself is very run down. Transients were hanging out in the parking lot and I believe there was some sort of drug addiction recovery housing happening in several of the rooms. The interior of the room was very basic but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Worried about my vehicle being broken into overnight but it didn’t happen. In summary, staff good…hotel bad. It’s worth it to pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

The reasonable rates were the deciding factor in choosing to stay here rather than 14 minutes closer to where we needed to be the next day. Some might find the rooms a bit clinical in their feel, but all we needed was a clean and comfortable room and a good night's rest, and the hotel delivered on all that. We also weren't kept awake by any outside freeway noise. I can't speak to how much noise might otherwise get through the walls and ceiling, since I don't think there was anyone in adjoining rooms (ours was the only car parked at the back side). The large refrigerator was a pleasant detail, as the mini fridges that are more common are a sometimes little too small. The desk clerk was very friendly and reassured me that my vehicle would be safe overnight, and that he keeps a close eye on the camera feeds that cover the parking lot. We also didn't see any vagrants near the hotel, and it felt relatively safe.
