When I opened our room up, I went in to use the bathroom, and the handle was completely inoperable. Sharing a hotel room with family, this was unacceptable, so I went to the front desk to let them know. I was given another room, and when we opened that one, the carpet was all ripped up off the side of the wall, and while the bathroom door closed, it didn’t lock. I took a picture and let the front desk attendant know the damage was there when I opened the room, and she treated me like, well, a Karen. We were only there for one night, but the fabric on the chairs was horrifying to look at and terrifying to sit on, the beds were cheap, the pillows even cheaper and lumpier, and the air conditioning unit old and smelly.
