Need Hot Water
This was the second visit to King Christian Hotel.
The week before Christmas 2024 I stayed in room 309 for six nights. There was no hot water. It wasn't cold, just cool. I didn't say anything because my showers are short, and I thought it might just be the old hotel. Plus, it was Christmas!!!!! How could I complain?
My second stay for three nights (supposed to be four) was February 5th through the 7th, 2025. I stayed in room 305. The water temp was the same. On the morning of the 6th, I go downstairs and people are at the desk talking about "no hot water". But apparently this was throughout the entire hotel and was not connected to my "cool" water situation. That was fixed immediately.
I decided to check out of the hotel early, because I wanted a long hot shower.
Upon checkout, I reported to the ladies at the front desk what had happened on both visits, and I needed to check out a day early. I had already paid in full. They proceeded to tell me the hot water had been fixed two days ago "so I don't know what your issue is". They said nothing else and offered nothing else. Being in the mood, I was, I just had to smile this day and tell myself I would not be back.
This is unfortunate. The rooms are extremely nice. The location is great.
The bed in room 305 does sink in and needs to be replaced.
