Picked LBBC due to good reviews on Hotels.com. Selected a bungalow style room on the beach (room is raised on pilings with stairs leading up). Very charming. However, immediately noticed the aging condition of the bungalow. Bottom of the door to the room was rotting out. Door handle rusted and falling off. 1st time using the shower was an interesting experience. I thought I would fall through the floor, as the shower pan was sinking several inches in the front. The repair that had previously been performed (probably 10 times) was a simply caulk job. Separation between the fiberglass shower pan and wall surround was 2 inches, causing water to pool and not drain. I inspected the underside of the unit and discovered the plywood floor under the shower rotting away. I informed the staff but they were unable to move me because all other rooms were sold out. While out during the day, the maintenance person "fixed" the problem. The solution was to cut away a small section of the floor, replace the wood, lift the shower pan and re-caulk. Water still pooled in the shower. The water in every unit was out for several hours during one day. I came home in the evening to find the water out again for several hours. I complained to the front desk and was told that a manager would call. All she did was apologize but would not do anything to rectify the situation. After complaining, the entire staff was rude to me and my family the rest of the stay. I will not stay here again.
