Ok, fair for the price
Economics quick weekend to escape a cold front. The best way to describe this resort is OK. I would stay here again for the price. Pools and ocean were great…. Drinks and food… not so much. Grounds clean. Plenty of chairs. If you are going to the sun and ocean you will be fine. If you are looking for luxury- keep searching. The grounds are pretty and well taken care of.

Great property, very friendly staff, some of the rooms are a little old (chipped paint etc..) but still clean, the food was good not as good as some of the restaurants outside the resort but it was good! The bartender Tina had great suggestions on what to try and where to check out and had an overall wonderful attitude towards everyone. We will be back!

Det var et nedslitt hotell med triste uteområder. Selve rommet hadde fin utsikt og OK bad, sengen var veldig hard. Vi spiste kun en lunsj på hotellet, resten av måltidene valgte vi å spise på andre restauranter da vi ønsket bedre kvalitet.

Got there and the apartment i booked wasnt available and had to take separate rooms whichbtook an hour to get into. Staff wasnt friendly which sucked (but the owner was) since we got caught in a tropical storm and they were the only ppl around. Once we left it was better. New rooms were nice. The toilet is way to close to the sink in the bathrooms but still a nice bathroom. Love that the balconies are blocked from the next rooms view. Glad I didnt pay for all inclusive. Its a beautiful place, maybe ill try it again another time.

This is a nice peaceful place- if you came to unwind and getaway from noise and people this is the place. It was nice - not bad at all… food was limited and the schedule wasn’t what we are used to but food was good. No pool towels so bring your own. You have to buy bottled water if you don’t want a cup. No in room amenities. Again not what we are accustomed to but not bad.

I loved the property and rooms overall…..beautiful! The staff and customers service at the bar was horrible. I went twice and the second day the bartender was so rude and unprofessional I did not return to the bar or restaurant the remainder of my stay. All of the other staff was friendly and great but that one ruined it for me. I would not return or recommend based on that alone.

Property needs alot of work! We had lots of rain and the ceiling was leaking. Shower head wouldn't stop dripping. No hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, fridge, iron and ironing board; the essentials I normally have access to at a hotel! The workers were GREAT!! Felt like home always!! The view was amazing!!! Needs alot of work though!

Everyone was really nice. This is a no frills resort. Bring your own shampoo, conditioner,soap, blow dryer (if you don't want to ask the front desk to use theres). You are basically paying for the insanely beautiful view and nice staff. The rooms are good for the price. The ackee and salt fish is to die for here.

Very nice location at the west end of Negril. Loved the option of jumping off the cliffs or taking the shuttle to the beach. The hotel is very dated and could use some upgrades. Food was really good, however limited selections. Staff are very nice and friendly. Room was clean. Would stay again for the value.

We chose Samsara because it was a small resort. We stayed here in 2012, so our it expectations were realistic and we were not surprised by the limited amenities and food choices. Negatives There was no supply of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bottled water, beach towels. Not one hook in Sea Vu rooms to hang wet bathing suits or towels. Rooms were not ready for 3pm check, we had to wait more than an hour. No assistance with luggage and had to carry suitcases up two flights of stairs. Coffee machines for rooms are possible,(limited quantity) but our group inquired 3 times and never received one. Some training on customer experience is needed for a few of the kitchen staff. Positives The view is spectacular and pools were clean. Fun to have the option to jump off cliffs or take a shuttle to 7 mile beach (Legends) Front desk ladies were always smiling and friendly. Tina and Kimeiko - loved these two ladies who without fail always greeted us with our name and a smile and provided great service. Junior- the shuttle driver was great. We also contacted him privately every night to shuttle us to and from restaurants. Close proximity to great restaurants. Beach was beautiful at Legends. Overall I might stay again for the value, but because of a few negative experiences would probably investigate other properties in the area instead.
