The adult pool with the bar was dirty. There was a bad smell. The water was murky and almost soapy. The food was horrible except for the steak we had. Chicken soup was basically just water and everything else not good either. Like no effort to make the food taste good.

Ocean View room, level 4 was perfectly in the middle of the 7th floor walkway to the marina view/breakfast buffet & the pools/ocean. Staff were all super friendly. Activities by the pool were fun & engaging— I took the painting class & guacamole class. Overall, I look forward to returning to this resort soon!

Avoid this place

Bad service, very unfriendly staff, old rooms and furniture, construction site on beach front and inside the hotel. Standard answer pf the staff if you have a request was “sorry, not possible”. Never again.

Amazing Cabo Resort

A friend recommended Sandos Finisterra to me for my first trip to Cabo (solo traveler) and I am so grateful she did! Everything was perfection from the beginning. They helped me arrange airport transportation through the resort and the drivers were wonderful. There are many pools, dining options, and bars at the resort. The small lobby bar was one of my favorite places to easily grab a beverage (bartender Barayam was great!) and I also enjoyed the Whale Watcher bar. The coffee shop (Cupcake) had nice, quick drink options, delicious desserts, and very kind employees (especially Abel). The beach is INCREDIBLE here and the resort is within walking distance to the marina and touristy areas. I felt very safe and welcome at the resort. It is clean, relaxing, and fun! I had a massage and pedicure at the spa, which were both affordable and enjoyable. The check-in and out process was smooth and housekeeping did an excellent job. Do not hesitate to book a stay at Sandos Finisterra! You won’t regret it. I look forward to returning as soon as I can!

So The food was not that great Don Diego food wouldn’t sit well in our Stomach at all, the food would make my internals become liquid and I also got food poisoning from The Agave restaurant. Overall the breakfast was ok and I would say to try and not eat dinner food at the resort.

We stayed here 12 years ago. It was great. We brought our family for five days. The staff are excellent Alicia and Don Domingo. Our waitress was awesome. The food is great. Aguave is probably my favorite restaurant. Those shrimp and fish tacos are the best all of the staff were great, friendly, friendly people our room was beautiful nice and clean very large refrigerator with stock. We will recommend and stay here again in the future.

La instalación está muy bien localizada y tiene una vistas bellas . Deben resolver el acceso de los huepedes cuando salen del hotel , pues del portón de entrada a la puerta del hotel hay una gran distancia que se debe caminar a la intemperie y además es una subida empinada.

All inclusives are not for me

The property is gorgeous, our room faced the marina which was awesome! The food options were mediocre but the service in all of the restaurants was pretty great. The pools were kind of gross - oily and had a lot of debris, including the VIP pool. If you want to leave the resort in an uber it is really hard - a really crazy hill/lots of walking. The stars of the show were the cat, Shadow, who lives by the pool and the events! I took at Calzone class that was fun!

staff was friendly, first night had bugs/roaches in our room water in sink and shower was dark brown almost black even after running it for over 1/2 hour. Manager changed us to different room second night, had a flood in that room water leaking from light fixture in kitchen reported maintenance said they were have plumbing issues with floor above. Food at most restaurants was sub par only Emilianos had good food.

Its a beautiful resort however, the food in elite restaurants is not good. We had a casita and the refrigerator didn’t keep the drinks cold and the elevators were too hot. No air conditioning

The room was excellent! Very spacious, clean, modern, bed was very comfortable. Everything about the hotel was excellent with the exception of the food. Food was ok. It needed more variety at the buffet specifically. They need more restaurants cause wait time was often long. Didn’t like the hostess service at the Turtle restaurant. They were not friendly at all. Drinks were good quality though. And I LOVED cup cake cafe. From the decor to the colors the quality of the coffee, the service was excellent and the view was beyond breath taking! Thank you Sandos for that very short getaway 🙏💖
