The resort was spacious and safe. Everyone was friendly. Only negative aspects were the elevators and the photographers. On the Mediterranean Side there are two non air conditioned elevators. One elevator would not go to our floor. So we had to get off on the floor before and walk up the stairs. The other elevator wouldn’t go to the first floor so had to get off on 2nd Floor and walk down. The other negative is the continuous staff photographers snapping pictures everywhere you went on the resort. You felt the paparazzi were following you around. Each photo is $20 if you chose to purchase. You don’t have to purchase but it is stressful knowing they are coming and you have to say “No Thanks” while enjoying your dinner and the entertainment. On a positive note try to go on an excursion to Shirley Heights and private tour of the Island with Flava Tours in the air conditioned van.

I liked that the beach was close to the rooms,the pools were always stacked with clean towels the bar staff was friendly . I disliked the entertainment was very lacking the food was also not up to par for an all inclusive resort . Our initial encounter with the front desk was less than adequate.

We booked what was supposed to be a special candlelight dinner for three people, only to be told we had to pay for four. That alone raised eyebrows, but we decided to proceed, expecting a premium experience. Unfortunately, what followed was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. From the start, the service was subpar. There was only one server assigned to four tables, and she clearly had no assistance or sense of urgency. We waited over 2.5 hours for our main course, which at that point felt like an afterthought. We ultimately decided to leave and had to request that our desserts be packed to go—so much for a relaxing and enjoyable evening. To make matters worse, the entire area was infested with sand fleas, which made it impossible to sit comfortably. The staff seemed indifferent to our discomfort, and no proactive solutions were offered. Throughout our stay, the bartenders and hosts showed attitude and lacked basic courtesy. There was no warmth or hospitality, which you'd expect at a dinner advertised as a premium experience. A particularly unacceptable moment came from a photographer who called us “lame” simply because we declined—after being asked multiple times—to have our photo taken. That level of disrespect was not only uncalled for but extremely unprofessional. The final blow came days later when we discovered that the exact same meal we paid over $400 for was actually included at one of the all-inclusive restaurants on the property.

I will see the people and workers of Antigua are super nice. But for the amount of money spent I was very unimpressed by the rooms. We stayed on the Mediterranean side with a walk out garden area. The rooms look like they were made in 1990 and for the price it just didn’t seem to match. Also if you are planning on going here for a babymoon I would reconsider because when they serve food is very specific. Almost every day I was ready to eat at 5pm after being on the beach all day and they didn’t open dinner until 5:30/6 and same for lunch the good lunch food and majority of places didn’t open till 12:30pm so I was starving. Lastly they advertise how they celebrate you, we came for a birthday and baby moon and on the birthday there was no recognition which was sad. But again the staff was very sweet I just think overall it wasn’t worth the price

We loved the dining options, many choices and the food was incredible! Accommodations were great and the hotel staff were very friendly and willing to go the extra mile. We were very disappointed with all the solicitation on and off the beach. It was persistent and frankly annoying. Spa employees constantly tried to get us to go to the spa, which is not included in the “all-inclusive” and is very expensive. Solicitors on the beach try to sell everything and anything from clothing and hot sauce to excursions not sponsored by Sandals.

This property was amazing! Great beach with some vendors but the vendors left you alone if you were not interested. Beautiful grounds that were in the process of being renovated during the daytime hours. The noise was not excessive and did not bother us. If you are looking for an intimate space with fantastic food, staff, and entertainment…this place is for you. Everyone went above and beyond!
