Wonderful stay, fantastic food!
Rooms were very nice, great atmosphere, very accommodating. Loved it and would absolutely come back! Also, the hotel restaurant was AMAZING!!!! So freakin good, we should have eaten there every night! The staff was wonderful, service was great, and food was excellent! Also being close to the farmers market was amazing, loved the location.

We've stayed at Short Stories several times. In all these stays, I've never once been disturbed by a neighbor during the night. The staff is wonderful; helpful and friendly. They even baked cookies for my wife's birthday.

La ubicación es muy buena, LACMA a 20 minutos caminando, the Grove está justo cruzando la calle, en general muy conveniente. Lo malo, La habitación es pequeña para tener dos camas matrimoniales, tiene un closet improvisado que reduce aún más el espacio, la habitación es muy fría y prender y nivelar la ternoeratura del aire acondicionado fue todo un reto, de pronto salía muy caliente y de pronto frío, esto sin contar que es imposible dormir con el aire acondicionado por el ruido que hace. En general creo que es un ‘motel remodelado’ intentando pasar por un hotel con un buen diseño, algunas veces olvidaban prender las luces del pasillo y quedaba súper oscuro. Creo que la convniiencia de este lugar no compensó la falta de atención a los detalles.

A little disappointed this time
This is our second stay here. I don't know what was wrong with the bed but the mattress was so bouncy that when your partner turned over you woke up from being bounced. It was not like this in the first room we had from our last stay. Also, the corners of the platform the mattress was on stuck out so far that we kept hitting our shins, it was painful! One last thing, the fan was not able to be turned off on the heater so it was on all night and was either too cold or too hot. My husband couldn't sleep with the constant sound of the fan. We were able to put it on low, but it was on whether the room was being heated or not. It was disappointing. Also, the coffee they put out in pump pots in the morning was not hot, barely warm. We were told the coffee would be put out at 7:30 a.m.. It was there at 7:15 a.m. and was already luke warm. This was a totally different experience we had than the first time we stayed here. I have to say the parking attendant was amazing, as he was the firist time here and so was their maintenance man. He did not speak English, but he was super friendly and was really sweet about it when I tried to speak some Spanish to him. He was the same exact way the last time here. He's a super guy! The woman at the front desk was very helpful and nice, too.

Rent och med en mysig atmosfär.
Det här hotellet levde upp till våra förväntningar nära the Grove och bra konstmuseum. Poolen var uppvärmd, städningen fantastisk de fyllde på vatten i en karaff flera gånger antagligen filtrerat. Det var bäddat varje dag, sopor tömda och påfyllt med handdukar. Vi tog en drink i baren första kvällen och åt i baren följande kväll. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka. Det var lite billjud på natten men det var nog på grund av lördagkväll och buskörning.
