Beautiful hotel in a great location with a comfortable room. And it was very loud, the cleaning staff made a ton of noise, people walking around the room above us clomped around the floor. The same person checking people in was also running the bar and restaurant it took so long we had to go somewhere else.

The room was clean. The bath gel dispenser in the shower was low in quantity that required us to request it to be refilled. We needed to request the emptying of our bathroom wastebasket. Raising the right window roller shade caused the right side of the shade to wrinkle and be raised unevenly. The front desk staff were helpful, polite and also absent from their position to attend other duties.

The rooms and common areas were clean. Location is ideal for walking into town. The complimentary coffee was very appreciated! Room was sparsely furnished and simple. No fridge or closet. Not sure if this can be helped, but there is little to zero sound insulation. Everything in the rooms next door could be clearly heard, so we did make use of the white noise sound machine on the nightstand. Water pressure in the shower was less than expected. @$300/night during peak foliage for a basic room.

Nicely refurbished rooms in a loverly older building in a great location - with a nice outdoor patio. The lobby / bar looks like it's still getting restarted - but not a problem given it's location to everything else in Lenox a short stroll away.

Very nice coffee set up in the morning. Staff was super courteous and helpful. Most of property is updated although carpeting and rugs are tired. Location is great, very convenient to Tanglewood and restaurants. Parking is onsite and more than ample. B
