Not noisy at all

I was initially worried after reading about the noise, but the hotel turned out to be very quiet. I didn’t stay over a weekend, and they placed me in the room farthest from the pub, which likely contributed to the experience. Overall, my stay was great. Excellent location and excellent prices (Toronto hotels are so expensive!).

Just book it.

It was cute, comfortable, in a great neighborhood. The hotel looks like it could be a hotel in The Shining. Extremely vintage and extremely well taken care of. There is a frat house next door, but they aren't obnoxious at all. There's a pub upstairs with decent food and good service.

With a pub right beside and above the noise in the room was quite loud until bar closing. Especially on Saturday night but even Sunday and Monday. Perhaps some of the other rooms are further away from the noise but mine was right beside it.

Fenêtre donnant sur une fenetre dommage !

Batiment au charme ancien Les differents bruits parasites (plancher du dessus clim) ont rendu notre sejour moins sympathique La fenêtre donnait sur une autre fenêtre et la chambre etait très sombre 😏 Emplacement ideal pour visiter le centre-ville

Unique but a bit loud!

The hotel was very cute but I did not know that it was built into a bar. Our wall shared a wall with it and we were not able to sleep until 2am when the bar closed.

Great place to stay in Toronto.

Great place to stay no matter what you’re doing—great public transit access, lots to do in the neighborhood, which is near the university and just 15 minutes by subway from downtown. It’s also a charming spot — an old Victorian house converted into hotel rooms. The bar & restaurant next door is great too — a nearby option for a drink or quick bite. Highly recommend

Toronto a great hotel stay in Spadina

I was most pleased with my choice of hotel as it was quirky, quaint and quiet I missed a refrigerator however readily available ice was a passable substitute Love ly friendly, helpful staff Having meals and drinks at the adjoining pub was most convenient Public transport near by was fabulous so easy to explore Toronto

A Decent Hotel

A beautiful building in a nice neighborhood near the university. The rooms have high ceilings — which means that there are a lot of stairs. The front desk is in a pub next door. The pub is full of college students but serves decent pub food. The room was a little dark. Carpets were a little old. Bed was comfortable. The room was clean. Overall, the room was perfectly adequate — although it seemed a little expensive.
