Right THERE!
The staff was lovely, the included breakfast Very Good (especially the fresh orange Juice) and the hotel itself very comfortable. Being just inside the Old city was perfect. Only a mile from the train station, a quick €11 ride.

Amazing location, friendly staff. In the heart of old Innsbruck. Humble breakfast. Two minor inconveniences: no parking on the premises and the lock box was not working.

Solo travellers beware
I loathe when solo at a hotel, particularly being female, when you get allocated the very worst room in the hotel. Zero aspect. Like being in a corridor with a shower at the end. As I have stayed in this hotel in the past, I had assumed they would take care to give me a better standard of room. Everywhere I go, they give me the cupboard room. Why in this day and age of solo travellers. I did not argue about it this time as was tired and I am also tired of always requesting a better room. Was not pleasant at all. I would have upgraded but not even asked. I gave up. Seven days was an eternity.

Right across the road from the Golden Roof... can't ask for a better location to see Innsbruck! Some of the rooms have adjoining doors, so careful you find your bathroom door ... some gonk next door flipped out when I turned the wrong door handle :/

Just do it
Don’t even look elsewhere just book it! This is literally in the middle of the town, has an amazing restaurant, and has that old school feel because it’s literally like 400+ years old - BUT it’s nicely updated on the inside! Don’t think twice just do it already!

Perfect location for the old city and the Christmas markets. The breakfast is not worth 24 euros tho. If you’re a picky diner like me the hotel restaurant may disappoint. Baby deer? Come on. They prepared a chicken breast for me as the rest of the menu was game oriented which was very kind. Also did not like the stuffed animals and mounted animal heads here and there. Would not stay again but others may not be bothered by all that.

Nous sommes arrivés, personne à la réception. Nous nous nous sommes signalés après du personnel. "Quelqu'un arrive" nous a-t-on dit. Après 10mn d'attente, nous sommes partis garer la voiture au parking des Congrès et partis a la découverte d'Innsbruck. A notre retour, il y avait quelqu'un à la réception et avons pu récupérer notre chambre. Belle chambre. Moquette épaisse au sol. Où sont les chaussons? Doit-on marcher en chaussures? Je ne le ferais pas chez moi. Ou sont les chaussons? Marcher en chaussette, pieds nus? TRES PEU HYGIENIQUE. La salle de bain vitrée est esthétiquement une très belle idée mais l'un se lève la nuit, l'autre sera réveillée par la lumière. Nous cherchons encore les produits de courtoise dans la salle de bain. Même pas une coiffe de douche. Rien Le plateau de courtoisie avec la bouilloire dans l'armoire? Il est très grand et lourd. Peu commode donc. L'emplacement est remarquable. D'où notre choix. Le bâtiment est magnifique. Malheureusement le service fourni n'est pas au niveau attendu. Notre prochain séjour à Innsbruck ne sera pas dans cet établissement

A good hotel, centrally located to all of what Innsbruck can offer. Be advised that if you book a 3 nights or more in Innsbruck, you receive free transit (local buses, trams and a few cable cars)! What a great city of enjoy.
