Good hotel

Good environment! Can see Inverness castle and the river right in front of us! The room is nice and well equipped! The breakfast was running out at 8:30am so we couldn’t get much. Not worth to buy breakfast if you get up after 8am.

Tired hotel, limps along by catering to tour group

Needs so very necessary renovations. I had a space heater in my room, which I used when there for 2 nights 2 week ago. Apparently the heating system doesn't work. I booked because it had a restaurant on site. The first night it was closed for everyone but a tour group. The second night it was just closed. You could eat in the bar, but service was non-existent. There is a grocery store around the corner so I had a sandwich, second night I got a pizza , which was good from a place opposite the grocery. Not what I envisioned I would be doing after long days in the Highlands.

Not Great

Was fine for one night...but not great. Run down hotel in need of an upgrade. We had mould in the bathroom, the mattress was very uncomfortable and generally just felt like a very tired room needing a good clean - including getting rid of the cobwebs! Breakfast was okay...again not great. TV didn't work and the doors in the corridor made it a noisy night.

Friendly staff, very clean rooms. Substantial breakfast can be purchased with room. Hotel is dated. Note on tub that it was slippery and needed a bathmat, but there was no mat and no handrail. Rooms at the front, overlooking the river are larger, but are over the bar so there is the thump of music late into the night. Not worth the extra cost. Flat foam pillows, not particularly comfortable.

We needed an overnight and this hotel was perfect. On the river, close to many things... pubs, restaurants, river, activity pickup, Tesco. You couldn't pick a better location

Meget slidt hotel lige ved Inverness Castle

Meget slidt hotel som i den grad trænger til opgradering over alt. Modtagelsen var såsom så, en lidt ligeglad receptionist. Morgenmaden var til 3 stjerner. Ligger i centrum af byen. Ikke et sted jeg ville vælge igen, da jeg havde forventet mere til den pris på knap 1500 kr pr nat.
