Needs an update.
Room was missing a lamp from one of the night stands. Floor lamp didn't have a light bulb. No hangers on the clothing bar. The jacuzzi tub looked terrible. They need to use some CLR or magic erasers or something to clean it. Carpet was in bad shape. Needs a new mattress. On a positive note, the desk staff was very friendly.

The nightmare
the pool was out of order, no tv remote, the room smells like smoke, the microwave didn't work the bathroom light would go out had to switch the braker to get it to work. the clock was broken. no phone to call the front desk and when i used my phone they hung up on me. Never would i stay there even if it was free!!

I have been traveling my whole life. This is number 1, the worst homeless living community i have ever seen. Kids roaming the halls unsupervised. You will smell like urine, smoke and dumpster upon leaving. We decided not to stay after seeing the room, the janitor was running the front desk so i had to come back the next day to request a refund from the manager. Upon arriving was told there is only a 75% refund policy. I didnt feel this was acceptable, i asked to speak to his manager because i want a 100% refund. He told me his manager does not have a phone number. He called the police to try to intimidate me to leave. When the police arrived they reassured me i was not doing anything wrong and thay this is not a place to stay with family. Don't let the cesspool fool you. Hotels.com should be ashamed to promote such a disgusting establishment.

Great value for the price. While the property could use a makeover. The room was clean, including the bathroom. Bed was comfortable, sheets were nice and bathroom towels were fine. I recommend it for an inexpensive place to sleep.

The place reeked of marijuana and cigarettes. There was no Smoke Detector in the room, just a hole in the ceiling with wires sticking out (I have pictures). The bathroom was disgusting with stains and spackle patches that weren't even sanded down. The bathroom ceiling had MOLD on the tiles. There were exposed screws from something that USED to hand on the wall but wasn't there. The stairwells were LITTERED with trash, and all kinds of debris, some of it unidentifyable. I booked 3 nights and didn't stay for even 1, it felt so unsafe. I could smell people smoking in the hotel and not having a smoke alarm just sealed it for me, and I left.

The employees smell like marijuana, it may be accepted in michigan but we are from florida and was visiting not acceptable in a professional setting. Rooms were run down, people live there, guy was passed out on the couch in the lobby, it was bad, we slept in the car after staying there

we did enjoy our stay however there was plenty of cops entering during our stay, and we were woken up at 4am by the cops knocking on our neighbors door, I hope the person was safe of course but other than that it was a comfortable and affordable stay!

Employees reek of marijuana, the property is literally on its last leg, everything is worn down and tore up. People live here, they have their doors wide open kods yelling and running around, people passed out on the couch in the lobby. I asked to be moved away from people who had kids screaming and door wide open they said there was no rooms yet the parking lot is empty because no one is staying at this dump. Avoid this place at all cost, it needs to be shut down by the state. I was a former Chief Engineer at a hotel and there is so many violations here i dont know how they are passing inspections. I am so mad i wasted my mo ey here

You get what you pay for. Room was clean and bed comfortable enough. The facility has aged without improvements (note the worn desk chair in our room.) The stairs in the lobby were dirty. There was no breakfast. Perhaps there is a staffing problem. Certainly a lack of investment.

It was okay
Our first room didn’t have a functioning TV or jacuzzi tub, we called the front desk and they sent maintenance up, but all he did was take the tv remove (which didn’t even belong to the tv in the room) and then never came back. Eventually we just asked to switch to a new room which everything was fully functional in thankfully other than the A/C /. Heater didn’t stay on like it’s supposed to so we just slept with the window open to cool it off in there (the windows don’t have screens though) But the 2 people at the front desk were very polite and helpful and accommodating for moving our room with no issues
