While the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was less than clean. There was hair on the floor, behind the door, and in the shower. Curtains were torn. It was quiet as I don’t think there was anyone else on our floor. We were next to the elevator and never heard the elevator. The toilet never stopped running. Keeping the bathroom door closed did help. The pictures online do not depict what the property looks like in person.

Our room wasn’t ready for at least an hour after check in, which caused me to have to change in the lobby bathroom and be late for my dinner reservation. I also had to bring my luggage to dinner. Concierge showed no real effort to fix the issue, giving the excuse that the room wasn’t ready bc I had upgraded to a nicer room. Idk why having a nicer room would make me have to wait longer. When I finally did get back to the hotel at 11, I only had my room key and no actual directions. When I did finally find the room, the keys didn’t work, so I had to go back downstairs and have them issue me new keys. Not a good experience, I won’t be coming back.

Great trip and helpful service
Property was in an excellent location in between most important destinations. We were in town for a Saints game, and this was ideally located close to the quarter and close to the stadium and WW II museum. Property was a little aged you could tell but relative to the age of most properties in New Orleans it was in good condition. Our flight arrived at 7AM and we got to the property at 8 AM. Check in was at 3p and they let us check in upon arrival. Made for a great surprise welcome as we were just hoping to drop bags until we could check in. I woukd stay here again for sure.

The room had rorn carpet in the entrance way and the carpet was soiled in areas. I had ro call for a plumbing issue, and water in the bathroom would srop after running for so long. Wasn't worth the amount spent on this place. I WILL NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER BEST WESTERN RUN PROPERTY. OVER RATED!! OVER CHARGED!! WASN'T WORTH IT!!!

Good location for Crescent City Blues and BBQ Fest
The location was right. The room was ok but 2 bulbs were burnt out in lights, there was no soap in shower or sink. The hot water never did get hot in the shower. You can't see out of the windows (film on windows needs to be replaced). There is a stairwell at each end. They were Filthy!! Garbage, bags, etc. in the north one and I don't know what was on the floor on levels 1 and 2 in South stair but it was nasty!! I had to put my shoulder into opening the door (which went to an alley outside) and it did not close and lock so I had to force it. The cafe was excellent. Front desk never asked about my stay when I checked out, just took the key cards and said Thanks (guess they were afraid to ask).

I reserved a king bed and when checked in, there was no king beds available. My reservations were made at least 3 weeks ahead of time. The clerk on duty was going to charge me for a double that was higher, despite it being their fault for not having what I reseved. There were guest outside the door smoking marijuana. The clerk also told me to check back and they would be sure to have me a king bed the following day. But they did not and the next onsite clerk stated they didn't and wouldn't have any available for that night of stay. The clerk even told me the parking garage, thats a block over was only $25 for the 2 days as long as I did not move my vehicle. Well it was not....it was $90 for both days. The hotel is good and need MAJOR updates. The bathroom had hair in the tub and on the floor, that was STILL there the next day that housekeeping came in the room. The shower did not work at all. Even after attempting to pull the part down for the shower to come, the water only came out the top of the spout. The first night didn't have any face towels which I had to get from the front desk. The elevator was extremely slow. It was quiet and convenient location for the Saints game. But I would not stay here again!!!

I really enjoyed the stay. Registration went well, wonderful staff each time I came in or out I was greeted. We have stayed here before. Everything is within walking distance especially Mother's Restuarant, lol. I read some reviews that said the water did not get hot, but we did not have that problem, I think that was user error because the faucet has a safety feature a lever you have to move to get hot water. We really enjoyed our stay and if we go back to New Orleans we will stay here again. Thank you Blake Hotel

They were so rude and then they did not in communicate with me right I called them and asked them about why my car was charged more and they told me it was a resort fee. I said that was not on the app and they told me it was when I get there they tell me that I had $100 deposit, but I get it when I leave but when I call, they did not specify all that when I was talking to them and they was trying to tell me they did but they did not and then they kept telling me do you want me to refund your money like they did not want me to stay there and when I walked in there, it was so loud and unprofessional And very ghetto it was not quiet at all. It supposed to be nice. Nice hotel and I don't appreciate how it was coming at me. It was most of the manager. I think she was the last time she asked me she wanted me to refund my money because I did not want to stay there so I went somewhere else to stay and they gave me a better rates and a better Response they did. I would never stay there again. I would not recommend nobody to stay. There is not a place to stay.

Our stay was interesting, when we arrived in our room and there was no wash cloths available. Went down to the front desk to address the issue and we was told that unfortunately the hotel was out of wash cloths until further notice so we had to improvise with a big drying towel. It was amazing the next day we had wash cloths The cable COX nor the regular channels in the rooms was working . This hotel needs some TLC fast. Overall The location was nice and accessible to mostly everything
