We appreciated the location of this hotel. It was walking distance to all landmarks, convenient to the Danish Bakery across the street for breakfast and The Castle next door for pub style lunch or dinner. On our last day we just walked a few steps to the Airline Bus stop at Westgate and had an easy ride to Heathrow airport. The room was spacious with nice bed, shower and seating as well as mini-fridge and coffee maker. We'd stay here again!

A central location in Oxford is a plus, but the hotel location immediately adjacent to a hyper-modern shopping mall was unwelcome. Also, parking for the hotel at the mall car park is notably inconvenient and expensive

The room was fine but I was given different rooms than what I ordered - they only had one bed instead of the three I had booked. They only gave us one towel for four people, and didn’t clean the room despite our requesting it (4 night stay). They also refused to honor the included breakfast. The manager Pressley was extremely rude and accused me of lying about all of the above and said that he couldn’t do anything to help. This was the worst customer experience I’ve had in 20+ years of staying in hotels.

This Premier Inn is in a great location - directly opposite an entrance to Westgate shopping centre, and a few minutes walk to many local attractions. Hotel lobby was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was generally clean. Bathroom needed a little more attention - walk-in shower is in need of thorough cleaning. Bed was comfortable, but the A/C kept switching itself off leading to me overheating a few times during the night as the room heated up quickly. Breakfast was good quality. The male member of staff managing the breakfast area on May 1st was really helpful and pleasant. He provided me with the gluten free menu and offered to have the kitchen prepare something separately to order. I would recommend this location.
