Aweful customer service. Desk clerk did not know what to do. Had to come down 3 times because keys didn't work. Finally called & told them they needed to come up & let us in our room.... It took them 2 more tries.... Not appoligitic, just had an attitude of not wanting to help. Hotel itself was decent for the price....

My room was given away the first night leaving me in a bind at midnight. I had flown in and gotten a ride to the hotel only to find they had no rooms despite my confirmed reservation. To make it worse all the local hotels were booked due to a international bike race so i had to stay in a hotel further away without any of the cleanliness or amenities i had booked. My keys expired twice a day for all 7 days i stayed. The manager was nice but the younger staff did not care at all. They never cleaned the room, emptied the trash or brought towels.

The most difficult part was FINDING the hotel. I drove around quite a bit until I stopped for directions at a State Farm office on McCorkle. it seems that road weaves all around the town. When I left, I had trouble getting back to 64-East. So it cost me time both finding the hotel and getting back to 64 East. Better directions are need on the internet site! The room was in excellent condition and very clean, but the air conditioner wasn't very effective.

would not recommend this place. checked in around 1AM, only to be woken up at 8AM to see if we were in our room. Then was told the man who checked us in said we were "no shows" the night before. I could go on and on about the other weird things that were said or done, but to keep it simple, don't stay here...

The only thing this hotel had going for them was the lady working the front desk. She was so friendly and went way above and you could tell she truly enjoyed her job. The hotel is old. Nothing is updated. It is clean. Just old. Nothing worked. We had 2 TV's in our room. They didn't work. The fridge didnt work. Our bathtub had some black moldy looking stain across the entire bottom. Our closet door mirror was just leaned against the wall behind the TV. It needs some major updating.

Family road trip from IL to SC and we stopped here to sleep and so far, so good! Almost stayed at a “budget” hotel in the area but decided to come here instead and I’m happy we did. Very nice front desk employee and the room is comfortable!

Not the cleanest, bathtub was filthy, bed was exceptionally aoft you could feel the springs. The drawers to thr dresser and fridge were held up by sticky post.

The hotel is in generally good shape and clean. For the price it was overall worth it. But we had a few different issues that were rather annoying. The gentleman that checked us in had zero customer service skills. He barely spoke two words to us while checking us in. The bathroom sink was clogged. My wife called down to the front desk (most likely same guy) to report it and he just hung up on her and no one came to take care of it. The toilet seat was broken. Then at 4:30 am in the morning when I went to take a shower realized there was no shower curtain.

Checked in at 8pm. Door to room was open, but looked like someone had just checked out bed slept In etc. got moved to a new room. None of the drawers closed, and the tv didn’t work. Third room tv still didn’t work. She switched out cords eventually brought up a new tv stuck it in front of the old one. Beds are hard half the staff live here and have mentioned the owners don’t care about the property. Hotel shares a lot with a holiday inn express and a days inn. Area is sketchy semis park around the lot.

I’m not really sure what to say. The staff was nice. But in our room there was a place for a fridge but it looked like it had been pulled out of its space. We had been traveling all week and had a cooler of food. Not convenient without a fridge. The back of the bathroom door was filthy. Like spattered with dirty water or something. It was disgusting. They said free breakfast but the eggs and sausage were obviously from the day before, there was sausage gravy but no biscuits. (Sausage gravy was probably from the day before.) They had cereal but almost no milk.

Stayed inCharleston to attend a concert. Country Inn and Suites was priced reasonably and the location was convenient. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The beds were comfy. The room was clean and well stocked. Major plus that they are pet friendly since we had a dog with us. The only thing I noticed that could use some updating was the carpets in some areas. Overall a nice stay and I would stay there again!
