It was disgusting smelled bad. “All inclusive” but barely had access to decent food the entire time. Nothing opened until mid day besides a breakfast buffet that your sick of after day 1. I would never go back or ever recommend this place.

Good deal great location!

People were VERY nice! The location was PERFECT! Great shopping and fun music across the street. Food was pretty good at the buffet and the hotel overall was in good condition. Prices were great too! The only thing I didn’t like about the hotel was the cheap pool chairs, towels that felt like sand paper (beach towels were thin & small and 1 didn’t cover the chair but couldn’t get 2).

Front desk stay made a mistake when distributing our wristbands and blamed us for their mistake. Only to correct it later. Terrible start to our vacation. Clogged bathroom sink as well.

Perfect! the beautiful property; the hard working, fun staff; the quality and selection of food; the immaculately clean rooms and common areas, and beautiful beach and the acrobatic devil rays in the Sea of Cortez; but mostly the friendly, warm atmosphere created by the management and staff.

An OK budget hotel which is worth budget prices

We came here 5-6 years ago and first impressions are, it’s pretty similar to then, albeit when we checked into our rooms, they’ve definitely been upgraded. Actually pretty good. Spacious and has all that you need. We booked a deluxe king bed ocean view room. Please beware though, the hallways are loud and if people get back to their rooms late and talk loudly, you can hear everything. We initially had room 618 in the main building, but we had an adjoining door to another room and the neighbors were so loud, you could hear them fighting and the TV was always on. We decided to move down a couple floors to get a non adjoining room and that was way better. You can still hear everyone in the hallways though. The rooms were actually quite nice though. The buffet was so so. As expected. Was actually better 5 years ago. No one wears gloves to serve food though. Little iffy. Haha The only way to book the restaurants was via their internal website / app. Pretty convenient if you managed to get a booking. They filled up literally within seconds. We managed to palm the Captains with some cash and they got us in. Zai was nice. Asian fusion. The only other restaurant we went to was Marco Polo and thankfully the captain got us in. Outside was great! Beach super easy access and nice palapas. It’s certainly worth the budget price, but they have lines for food everywhere and when things run out, tough luck. They need more servers. But I guess it’s a budget hotel.

We recently stayed at this resort, and while there were some positives, our overall experience was disappointing. The Good: The beach is beautiful, very walkable, and definitely a highlight of our stay. The facility and rooms were clean, which we appreciated. The Bad: Unfortunately, the food was a major letdown. The selection was poor, the food was often cold, and my wife got sick from it—she spent an entire afternoon in bed with vomiting and diarrhea. We've traveled to Mexico many times and stayed at numerous resorts, but this was by far the worst when it came to dining. The drinks were also very weak. While they would make them stronger upon request, it was clear they didn’t want to. Additionally, the shower handle in our room wouldn’t stay in position, forcing us to hold it up while trying to wash. Final Thoughts: Given our experience, we won’t be returning to this resort—or any Solaris properties in the future.

Liked that you could leave the property and go shopping or into the Centro easily and safely. Staff were all super friendly, funny and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Did not like that in order to book reservations for dinner we had sit down and chat with an agent. Although he was friendly enough he was not about to let us get on with our vacation until we agreed to have breakfast with him. That is 5 hours of my vacation wasted.

My husband, grandson and I recently spent 3 nights at this resort. It wasn’t too busy at the time so we had no trouble finding lounge chairs near the pool, something I’d read about in previous reviews. I would agree with other reviewers that the food at the buffet was not great but we did find some tasty options. We didn’t bother trying to make reservations at any of the a La carte restaurants because of our short stay. Our room and the public areas were very clean and all staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful, particularly Luis in the buffet. We watched part of a show but found it kind of boring to be honest. Drinks were OK and inconsistent but that’s to be expected at an all-inclusive resort. My husband and I don’t normally stay at all-inclusive resorts as we prefer a more local experience but we did this for our grandson after visiting family in La Paz. If we were to stay at an all-inclusive again we would not rule this one out.

Maids and Bellman had better customer service than front end workers - Manager at check in was rude, abrupt and dismissive.
