The main issue we had was with Service. In advance of our trip I had asked for a cot which was not there on arrival. When I went to reception and told them, they sent up housekeeping with one promptly. When we had arrived into our room we found an adjoining door to the next room that opened. When housekeeping arrived with the cot my husband informed them. We were told by the lady that it wasn’t a real door. ‘Just for decoration’ I think were her words. We then opened it to show her. She put the cot across the door. As they went to leave my husband asked again ‘what will do about the door’. She told us just to leave it! It made me very uncomfortable.
Upon arriving home I realised I had left my daughter’s shoe on one of the beds. I understand this was my fault, but I expected to be able to get it back by paying for the postage. Unfortunately I have been told that housekeeping don’t have it. It was definitely there, right on the bed, so clearly housekeeping just binned it. I am very frustrated.
