Mid week to ski
Mid week 3 night stay to ski Palisades. Easy check in. Clean comfortable room. It is an old hotel, but suited our needs. Great location, easy walk to lake, restaurants & Safeway. Rooms looking a bit tired. Plenty of hot water & comfortable bed. Was very quiet. Only real compliant was the heater was difficult to adjust the temperature. Just seemed to be either on or off

Old property.
The room was very small for 2 beds. peeling wall paper, missing drawer knobs, old shower caulking and etc. The property is old. Underground garage is leaky with dirty green water puddles. Heater is working, but the heat escapes instantly.

Apparently, the boiler was out but no one bothered to call us or let us know ahead of time of the situation. We arrived to a space heater in the room but were freezing. Had to wear a parka into the bathroom. The second night we requested a second space heater but it was still not quite enough. We asked for a more definitive solution and they moved us to their sister motel which had heating. The customer service after the fact was great, but wished they had apprised us of the situation beforehand and offered us the move sooner as it was freezing!!!

Had a great time!
Loved my stay! Was located on the 5th floor and the view was great! Happy to have access to elevator and free parking! The only thing that I disliked were the pillows. They were really flat.

Nice hotel with amazing views!
Got there just after check in time and was greeted nicely and put in a room with lake views even though I didnt pay for the upgrade. Everyone in the staff was nice and friendly. We had a great stay and many restaurants were very close by within 500 feet of the hotel. I will go again at some time.

the only stand out positive feature of this hotel is its location which is right opposite Lake Tahoe. Other than that you are greeted with dirty soiled carpets, worn out walls and interiors. No AC which can get uncomfortable during summers. NO office staff before 3 PM which can be inconvenient as you got to hand around to get hold of your room keys. Go somewhere else and save yourself the grief.
