The check-in process was fine, but the woman wasn’t friendly. The room smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke, which I assume was why both of the windows were left open. There were burn marks in the bed skirt, cigarette ash in the drawer by the bed and left over trash in the desk drawer. Many surfaces were streaked from cleaning, but many others (like doors and walls) hadn’t been cleaned and were smudged with handprints and mystery substances. Cleaning was done, but not thoroughly. Mattress was clean and in a zippered cover to prevent contamination. Floor was vinyl, so much cleaner than carpet. The unpleasant smell of smoke and whatever cleaning product they used to try to cover it up were the worst part of the stay.
