We stayed at this hotel for three nights in July 2025 and would rate it 3 stars. The location is truly stunning, with a beautiful view, great pool, and direct access to the beach – the outdoor facilities are clearly the hotel’s strongest asset.
However, the interior feels stuck in the 1980s and is far from modern. Our room had visible signs of mold and poor air quality, which seriously affected our overall comfort.
On our last evening, we dined at the hotel restaurant Le Grand Bleu, hoping for a memorable meal after a week of amazing Sicilian cuisine. Unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. Despite the high prices, the food was simple, uninspired, and poorly prepared. All four dishes underwhelmed, but the paccheri was particularly bad – severely undercooked pasta in a tasteless, glue-like sauce.
While the retro decor and basic breakfast could be overlooked thanks to the view and outdoor setting, the restaurant experience significantly lowered our overall impression. Our advice: enjoy the view, skip the dinner, and head into town for authentic and flavorful Sicilian food.
