The room was underwhelming for a 5 star hotel.
There was mold in the bathroom, cleaning and/or re-caulking is needed. The shower head was placed too low for someone taller than 170 cm. I am 183cm tall and had to bend down to wash my hair/head in the shower. There was no removable shower head.
The walls were super thin. We could hear the guest next door speaking and their baby crying very clearly.
The room was slightly larger than a normal standard room at other hotels, and we had a bathtub, which was nice.
Service was good, the staff were friendly and helpful, even checking with us if we needed new towels or amenities after hanging the do not disturb sign on our door for 2 days.
A negative experience was that we ordered breakfast for 2 and asked for 1 of the breakfasts to be gluten-free. They provided us with a single serving, and the only gluten-free alternative was the toast. The granola, crossaint, and Danish were not. So basically, my wife could eat 2 pieces of toast with butter, cheese, and jam.
The breakfast also wasn't that good. I would recommend visiting any other establishment that serves breakfast. We did that the other 9 days and found the food to be both cheaper and tastier.
Location is 10/10, we walked almost everywhere because it was all so close.
If it weren't for the location, I would rate it 2/5.
If the room was cleaner, I would rate it 4/5.
All in all, it was an ok stay.
