I stayed at the Wingate by Wyndham Cincinnati – Blue Ash from 8/10 to 8/15, and unfortunately my experience was disappointing.
The air conditioning unit leaked throughout my entire stay. Because the unit was right next to the bed, the floor was constantly wet, and I had to keep laying towels down just to walk. I couldn’t even use that side of the bed and had to climb over to get in and out. I reported the issue to the front desk on 8/11, and they sent someone up, but the gentleman only handed me extra towels and said “tomorrow.” No repair was ever made.
On top of that, the Wi-Fi was terribly slow and unreliable. One of the lights in the room didn’t work because it didn’t even have a bulb. The bathroom door didn’t close properly—you really had to push hard to get it shut. Housekeeping only came by once during the stay, which added to the frustration.
For a Wyndham property, I expected much better. The staff was polite, but the follow-through on maintenance, amenities, and basic room quality was poor. Until these issues are addressed, I can’t recommend this hotel.
