Too many people loitering outside all night long and the property felt very unsafe

Do Not Stay!!!! Health code violations posted!!!’
We will never stay here again and would tell others to not stay.
1. Upon check in the lobby smelled heavily of pot as if someone smoked in the lobby.
2. Lobby pictures do not match at all what is actually there, hotel is VERY run down.
3. We went to the pool after check in and found a sign on the pool door that the state health department came in and shut them down due to not being in compliance.
4. No one mentioned when booking or upon check in that the pool was closed
5. The carpet was sticky and wet in spots (unsure of they steam cleaned?)
6. A wasp came in through our air conditioner unsure if there is a nest in it.
7. Large crack in the wall by the air conditioner and (10) multiple ants were coming in through the crack.
8. Mold in vents and flashing that filter needed changed.
We were supposed to stay 4 days. Needless to stay we packed up and left after the ants. It was the final straw. We’re left the front desk know the issues and were informed that the manager is also the manager next door for Hampton inn and she was not in. We were told to put in the request for refund through hotels.com. We’re let hotels.com know they still cannot get ahold of anyone to authorize the refund! I’ll be contacting corporate. This shouldn’t even be open.

Never go here ever
It was horrible this is now a franchise under the Marriott hotel name. I would never do business there as long as Rebecca is the GM and Lakiesha is the front end hospitality manager very unprofessional and not consistent in what they say. Showed no concern and respect for me as the guest. I came and stay for business and staycation with my family Lakiesha said she would give me a rate of 79 a ay I extend a refund was giving because third party charged 170 and hotel charge as well on their end on accident Bianca tried to fix the problem and Tai confirmed refund was justified also process and it would take three to five days to return back in my account. Kiesha cancel refund and an amount of 359 was posted January 1 2024 Rebecca refused to fix the problem and told me to pay for another stay she told me to call Marriott they couldn't see anything on their in because this is franchise. The rep hung up on me Rebecca couldn't give me a solution call the police on me I didn't do anything wrong to cause disturbance. I had already got my things out of the room just wanted my refund. They were laughing at front desk playing with a baby like it was a daycare and they didn't care how they discriminated against my character. I will be talking with Manny soon which is the owner an filing a suit. Such a horrible staycation, they didn't care I was upset. It didn't bother them one bit.

Very disappointed of an old favorite.
We have stayed at this hotel over 5 times, but this will be our last. Receptionist was helpful finding a room closer to the elevator since they were out of handicapped rooms and told us breakfast lasted until 9:30. When I arrived at the breakfast area @9:10, they had already cleared out the food and the worker said they had changed their policy. The sign by the food area said that breakfast time was until 9:30.
The parking lot does not have enough spaces and one whole area is taken up by a large construction dumpster. They don't have you provide the car and license plate number when you check in, unlike every other hotel. When we informed the night clerk that one of the cars parked in one of the 3 handicapped didn't have a permit, she informed us that they don't provide valet service. Really-that's your response? My husband thought it was probably her car parked there when he rattled off the license plate number and she had a deer in the headlight look on her face.

So So.
I liked but didn’t like this hotel. It’s in an area that’s scary and there are tons of homeless people everywhere. Check in was easy, and they let me check in early which was great. The coffee at the breakfast was good, but I didn’t eat the food so I can’t rate it. It seemed like they had a good selection though. The staff was all nice; slightly unprofessional because a few of them would leave the desk to go play on their phones outside or in the dining area. I asked for someone to clean my room, in the morning on my third day, but nobody ever did. I was there 4 nights and had filled all the trash cans. They don’t have a cash box so they can’t give you change to wash clothes in their laundry room. That is insane to me. If you’re going to have laundry machines, you need to either have coins to cash out or have a way to pay by card. The shower pressure was awful and it took 45 min to fill the tub for a bath. The bed was comfortable and I loved the pillows. It was close to an airport so you do hear airplanes; that didn’t bug me though. I’m not 100% sure I’d stay here again but cannot by any means say it was a bad hotel.

Terrible Experience with Fairfield and Hotels.com
Absolutely horrible check-in experience. I pre-paid for my families room two months in advance. On the day before the reservation date, I was contacted by the hotel asking me to move to a different room because they over sold the rooms with double queens. Fine, we agreed to move to a different room but was guaranteed a room when we arrived. The person we talked to on the phone also told us not to book through Hotels.com because things like this might happen: WHAT!?!? When we arrived at the hotel, the lobby smelled like pot and they told us there were NO rooms for us even though we had ALREADY PAID FOR THE ROOM. The receptionist called the hotel next door and they put us in a room there. Thankful the other hotel had a room or we would’ve been out of luck and out of $170 dollars. I will never stay at a Fairfield by Marriott again.

The bathroom looked like it wasn’t cleaned at all. I was very disappointed. I always try to book a Fairfield because they are always clean and comfortable. I have pictures of the bathroom. The cups for the coffee were not wrapped maybe someone used them. The coffee pot was dirty, we didn’t use it. Look at the picture. The bathroom was just simply not clean at all. The Kleenex box was stuck to the counter like they hadn’t moved it to clean as you can see in the picture. I was just not satisfied with the room. The sheets smiled, I had to spray them.

Reserved room was not available when arrived for check in. Room that was available did not accommodate all guests. Checked me out of my room and discarded some belongings while I was gone the second day. Second room given had blood on the sheets. Nobody was available to change the sheets but staff could provide new sheets. Was already charged for the room and every day was told I would have to come down in the morning and talk to a manager about a refund or to remove charges. Every day a manager was not available. Unfortunately management puts the staff in a bad position with little to no ability to remedy the situations. Contacted Marriott and they say this is indeed no longer apart of the Marriott brand any longer so please do not be fooled by the misinformation included in the name.

The staff were excellent! The front desk supervisor Leslie went above and beyond in answering questions, providing information, and she made our stay welcoming and relaxing. She is an asset to your team!
