The attitude of the Japanese female receptionists at the hotel was generally poor. Despite two of us checking in, we were only given one room key. When we asked for an additional one, the receptionist clearly looked displeased and mentioned a 3,000-yen fee if the key was lost.
Daily cleaning required an extra charge, yet the carpet had large, visible stains. The staff responsible for replacing towels and collecting trash each day didn’t do their job properly.
For the price we paid, this level of service is completely unacceptable.
