When you 1st walk into your room, you'll think it's fine. Then the smell hits you (at least in my room) - like urine. Not sure if its animal or human. Multiple stains on the floor, and discover one is wet! Go to use the bathroom, and the handle to flush it is broken and you have to really mess with it to make the water stop running. While dealing with this, I noticed A LOT of yellow markings on the wall and floor surrounding the toilet. So, take your guess on what that was.
I considered calling the front desk to ask for a new room, but theres no phone in the room. Chose to not talk to front dest staff in fear the room they'd move me to would be worse.
None of the outlets on the lamp worked. So enjoy your 1 outlet in the entryway and in the bathroom.
Pool was super cold, and the whole area was very small. Maybe 2 tables with 2 chairs each.
I dont visit PDX often, but next time I will pay more and hopefully stay at a cleaner hotel.
I will say, for a positive, the beds were comfortable and the front desk clerk who checked us out in the morning was very kind and friendly.
