Looks like this hotel was an ex Travelodge. Staff very friendly, although a bit off putting that the reception staff had perspex clear barriers, possibly to protect them?!?. Basic hotel, room and bathroom clean enough, although in the room 'hazard tape' was on the wall by the bed, maybe to cover a hole in the wall. We parked in the car park directly opposite, very convenient, especially as it was raining...£13.90 for 24 hours, so not over the top expensive. All in all great for one night :))

I did not realise the Wifi was only in communal areas, it worked in the room last time. Please state in large letters there is no WiFi then people can choose a hotel with WiFi if required.

This is an inexpensive city centre hotel that delivers a bed for the night that is clean and secure. The staff are helpful and friendly. You find your own car park (we were lucky to get a place at the small carpark opposite the hotel). You find your own restaurant/cafe for food (we recommend Whale Tail veggie cafe just around the corner for breakfast). And that's it.

I've stayed before in this budget hotel. It was rather more expensive this time. The room and bathroom are clean and all the facilities work well. There is no breakfast or communal area but cafes can be found nearby. It's well located.

3 rd stay here this year, staff are always helpful & friendly. Rooms clean. No food available probably with it being right next door to weatherspoons/tesco extra which stay open late. It’s just only ten minutes walk from the station, there’s a car park opposite but expensive and not many spaces. Handy location to shops bars and restaurants.

Centrally located, this budget hotel is comfortable and clean. There is no air conditioning, but a fan is provided, plus the windows open partially. Whilst no food is offered there is a Wetherspoon's next door. One gets what one pays for, and this is a good place to stay for the price. I slept well.

Really good location, the staff were very friendly and attentive. Although we had some issues with our key card deactivating they were really helpful and not a complaint. was the perfect location right in the city centre, with lots of shops and restaurants all within walking distance! The traffic could sometimes be loud but easily fixed by closing the window. As well as the lack of iron and hairdryer in the room, however there was a communal iron in the reception. Was a really nice stay overall.
