A pleasant stay at the Parkavon Hotel for myself, my wife and two children. Hotel staff were polite and friendly, large car park for us to be able to park our hire car every evening. We didn’t opt for breakfast as there is a Tesco, M&S and Lidl all within a mile distance, so were able to pick up fresh pastries from there every morning. We did have dinner one night at the hotel and it was very nice. It’s centrally located, all amenities within a short distance. It’s a perfect stop off destination if you want to do the Ring of Kerry which we did. Price was reasonable considering other options. I’m very happy with our stay at this hotel. We stayed in one of the cheaper smaller double rooms, which was perfectly adequate.

loved the hotel and it was exactly where we needed to be half way between the town and the race. the leisure centre was a great relieving agent after the run and the breakfast was excellent

I arrived a few hours after the allowed check in time and my room they gave me was not cleaned. Hair in shower on floor of tub and walls. Also what looked like finger or toenail clippings. I went to use the toilet and it was stained with poop. I asked for another room that was clean. They said we will give you a renovated room that are only located in the 3rd floor. Then the offered me free breakfast for the morning and told me to book a time with them. I told them 8am. When I arrived the next morning the staff had no idea what I was talking about and said I had to pay. I had to go back and forth with them until they finally said they found the note. I finally ate at 10am. It was only two days and one night and honestly that’s all I could take. Also my room looked out to the side of thier building which had long untrimmed grass and what looked liked an old broken down child’s toy car and bench.

Superior family room was very basic and old fashioned. No luxury, no drinking water in the room and room was dull with small window. Checkout at 11am was strict. Breakfast buffet was adequate. Basic 3 star hotel for the money.

Lovely stay in hotel over the Bank Holiday weekend Staff were lovely and friendly Rooms were spacious and very clean Breakfast was plentiful and had a great selection

The pool was small but warm. The room was big. Got food in the bar & i ended up with food poisoning. I was up for most of the night vomiting. The manger refunded tue price of our meal & apologiesed. It made the stay less enjoyable

Had a great stay. Hotel was clean and comfortable from the inside . Could do with a tidy up on the outside. Weeds, pavement etc. Hotel staff were really lovely, and very helpful. We used the pool twice, which has hourly slots that you need to book. Again the attendees were very pleasant and helpful. The furniture in the bedrooms could do with an update. Overall we had a lovely time due to the cleanliness and comfort of our room and the lovely staff x

We enjoyed our stay with no real issues. Our room was overlooking the car park and waste bins, which wasn't great and the hotel is looking a little dated and tired and needs an upgrade.

We had a great stay at the Parkavon. Easy walk from the hotel into Killarney town center with lots of dining options, and also to the Gleneagle INEC. The room was spacious and clean. Good selection of hot and cold items at the breakfast buffet. The pool and saunas were nice to unwind in after long days of walking and exploring.
