Not bad but could use some attention
I found it odd that people had to ring a bell in order to get someone to the front desk. This also alarmed me from a security standpoint. Anyone could walk in the front door and go anywhere in the building without anyone noticing. The breakfast was ok, but nothing to write home about. The room was comfortable and clean.

Beware of the dog
I was not aware that the hotel was pet friendly. There was a happy dog who woke me up. I realize the building is old, but it’s very noisy.

Comfortable Stay
This was our second stay and will likely continue to be our go- to hotel when in the area. Room is clean, most of it is up to date. Bathroom could use a little face lift but still clean and functional.

Older hotel but clean and excellent water pressure
An older hotel but very comfortable for its price! There was wear-and-tear throughout the suite (some peeling drywall and a weird stain on the armchair) but overall was a good stay. The water pressure on the shower was definitely one of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel and the bed was comfortable, which is all I really care about. My hotel room was very clean. Free breakfast is always a plus in my book. Basically, don’t expect luxury but if you’re looking for a clean and well-priced hotel room, I do recommend!

I didn’t stay there. I was snowed in elsewhere and never made it. They still haven’t refunded my money despite saying it’s fully refundable. Now they’re inundating me with emails about my stay. I just want my money. Feel free to keep denying my review and not refunding me though

Very nice property.
Staff was excellent. Made sure we got the second floor room we requested. Helped me sign up for Wyndham Rewards, and secure the exact rooms I wanted for my next trip. Breakfast was very good, with many options. One negative and it’s a big one - we had no smoke detectors in our room. Apparently weren’t working so we’re removed for replacement. Should not rent rooms without detectors! I’ll be sure we have them on our next visit or we will cancel.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean. The remodel wasn’t done very well. Looked more like a poor DIY job, but that would not have made me rate this hotel as poor. Breakfast was ok for one morning. Beyond that, we picked up food elsewhere simply due to preferred food choices. We did have a couple try to enter our room at 1:30 am the first night. Of course their key would not work because they had the wrong room. That wasn’t the hotel’s fault but it was frightening in the middle of the night.
