The hotel location is perfect! We enjoyed the ocean view and easy beach access. Garbage pickup and fresh towels are offered daily. The amenities were terrible. No pool or beach towels are available. Two small bars of soap and a tiny shampoo bottle are all that is provided. It also would have been nice to have beach chairs or umbrellas available.

I don’t expect much from beachfront motels but this certainly exceeded expectations. It’s older like most beachfront motels but clean, spacious and comfortable with all rooms facing the water. I nice large slider opens on the balcony. Very convenient to downtown and UNCW it’s beside my favorite restaurant in Wilmington - Oceanic, and across the street from Sundays coffee shop a cute, albeit always busy 2nd floor coffee shop above the surf shop.

My daughter and I had the perfect beach getaway at Surf Suites! It’s an older facility but I was pleasantly surprised at how the unit was up-to-date and very clean! We loved being directly in the beach with the balcony. We will definitely stay here again!!

This was our first time staying here and we were very impressed. They put us on the first floor and we loved having the patio that was open to the lawn area. It was nice and tranquil. Housekeeping stopped by every day that we stayed and brought new towels and took the trash. The beds were comfortable but a little firm for me, but my hubby loved it. Getting a suite with a separate bedroom from the living area was a great idea even for a couple.

The Surf Suites was above an beyond what i thought it would be. The room was huge. It was like an apartment. Separated bedroom, bathroom and a large from room with a huge kitchen! Gorgeous view of the beach from the back patio! It's only a short 3 min walk down to the beach. The restaurant next door was really good and you also have a view of the beach. I would definitely recommend. The morning sunrise was perfect!

Parking was very simple. The room was extremely clean and beautiful. It almost felt like a nice apartment rather than a hotel room! I actually lost my wallet, but someone found it and returned it to the front desk. It was really wonderful of them to do that. 10/10

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The interior has been renovated, and it is beautiful. The Oceanic restaurant next door was delicious (splurge for the coconut martini!), and the south end point was an easy walk and a neat place to see. We will stay here every time we come to the Wilmington area.

Check in and out quick. Julie in housekeeping excellent. Appreciated a full frig WiFi needs attention kept being dropped every 10 minutes or so and we had 4 devices ( not all on at the same time) A few items in kit him down to 3 like bowls and spoons. Hard to use dishwasher without a few more basics
