Check in didn’t go smoothly, their computers were freezing, then down. Got it back up but took 15 mins. Second time I’ve stayed here and the same thing happen the first time. Room was clean and roomy. Hallways and stairs needed to be vacuumed. Restaurant still closed. Location is good.

"Fair", at it's best.
The lobby was very dirty!!! Previously Ramada Inn so it's a little dated, but not a big deal to us. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. I do know others that had issues with being given a dirty room to check in to! The staff was new and tried their best. Hoping it was a "transition period", but do not plan on staying there again.

Dated but alright
The hotel is an old Ramada Inn, and it's showing its age. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the location fairly convenient. If all you want is a place to lay your head at the end of the day it is perfect. It definitely suited my needs.

Unhelpful staff, BOGUS resort fee.
Staff unwilling to look or find the luggage kart for 3 days. Had to carry many pieces of luggage for great distance a few times. Handicap parking spaces about 100 feet from the main entrance. Holes on the walls. Advertised "breakfast" was coffee/tea and breakfast bars "to go" when local restaurants were open and serving food. Charged a $10 per day for "RESORT" fee BUT they are NOT a resort....just a BOGUS charge for additional revenue. Practically NO electrical outlets in the entire room. NO microwave. Midget 1.5 cubic foot refrigerator. CHEAP as possible in every aspect.

This place is terrible
Well I didn’t sleep because people were screaming and yelling all night long!! Then I check out and I was charged 500.00 for 1 night which the cost of the room was supposed to be 199.00,.. so now my account is empty ( thank god I had funds in there to take after all these charges!!! I’ve stayed in this hotel numerous times over the last 4 years and never had a problem!! The only good thing was the 3pm-11pm manager named maureen.. she was apologetic and tried her best to help me all with a pleasant manor!! But today is Tuesday and still have charges that haven’t come off!! I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVERYBODY I KNOW HOW MY EXPERIENCE WAS UNACCEPTABLE..

We’ll be back for sure!
Wonderful stay! This is an older hotel, but that has no bearing on the comfort! The beds were soooo comfy as were the pillows, and the sheets were soft....not hard and crisp. Don’t mistake the softness for old...that’s not the case at all. The towels were standard hotel towels and we have no complaints about them. The water pressure was very good too. The carpets have been replaced throughout the hotel with a “type of hardwood” and this consumer find the appearance really nice and updated. The rooms were spacious and had all you need from a bureau, chair and hassock, desk and even a small dorm size fridge. A few points to note: on the bed there is a duvet instead of traditional blankets. While lying on the bed watching tv we got a little cool and wanted a blanket to throw over us, but there wasn’t any and the hotel does not have them. Also, we could hear the heavy footed guests above us walking, but on a positive note we could NOT hear them talking nor a tv. In that regard the hotel IS overall VERY quiet. This hotel has PLENTY of easy in and out parking and THE LOCATION IS GREAT!!!!!! Plenty of places to eat at and a short drive or walk away. Less than 10 minute drive to the ocean and heart of Newport! We WILL DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN! Maria, the afternoon manager on Saturdays was so pleasant and accommodating.
