Fabulous!!!!
Fabulous place to stay. The bar/restaurant is cosy and inviting. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Teas coffee and cake was a lovely touch in the room. Beds comfortable, breakfast delicious. Taxi to nearby picturedrome £6 each way. Can definitely recommend.

Recommended, great stay.
Friendly, cosy with character. Attention to detail with decor. Wonderful food, great atmosphere, we will return again. Fully recommended. We were using a gift token for the wine tasting in the village thus the reason for the stop over due to the location. Hotel staff very friendly and welcoming. Look forward to visiting again when we have more time to explore the area.

Stayed in the Dove Apartment - best of both worlds with the pub restaurant downstairs and self catering facilities in the suite. Staff are really friendly and helpful - can’t do enough for you! They even provide a brochure with maps and instructions for good circular walks starting at the pub. Would definitely recommend.

An utterly exquisite stay at the Pickled pheasant! Incredible attention and consideration has gone into cultivating an entirely wonderful staying experience. The food is divine, the service is wonderful, and the rooms are just superb. We stayed in “Goose” with our dogs and they were incredibly comfortable! Highly recommend.

Long Weekend Stopover
Comfortable, well furnished and spotlessly clean rooms. Owner and staff super friendly and helpful. Bar/restaurant food very good. Weather was particularly cold during our visit but the Pickled Pheasant was warm and cozy😀

Fantastic hotel. The host, and all the staff, were friendly and welcoming. Our room (the Peacock Suite) was immaculately clean, with thoughtful decor throughout. Both the bar area, and restaurant are dog friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel for walkers too, as there are lots of good walks locally.
