Could not connect to WIFI I was offered no help. They blamed it on my devices. I will stop here for work again. Bathroom was falling apart towel rail.

Booked the stay with parking as a requirement only to find out there is no parking and have to pay extra and located in a different area ‼️

Overall, we had a pleasant stay, with comfy, clean beds and a decent bathroom. However, the rooms require replacement of blinds as they were unusable and broken, bathroom fixtures were loose, and the general state of the room needed sprucing up. The reception was helpful and allowed us to stay an extra hour after checkout.

I had booked to stay at this hotel (where I have stayed many times before) on 4 February. From 2 February we were directly hit by the severe weather issues in Ingham and didn't have power, phone, internet or any connection to the outside world. When I finally was connected I see I was charged the full price of the hotel so I contacted Wotif who were very good and tried on numerous occasions to get the hotel to refund me the amount in the circumstances, but they have refused. I have sent an email to the hotel's head office about this and they have not responded. Shame on you Madison Plaza for sticking to your T&C's at a time when we were experiencing a 1 in 100 year event.
