喜歡寧靜是一個不錯選擇
這旅館是獨立屋設計，好有特色，環境舒適，私隱度高，車子可泊正門前。屋內地方非常整潔，備有小廚房，雪櫃,爈頭餐具等齊備，方便煮食，但需要約45分鐘車程才有超巿。職員親切有禮，樂於介紹附近景點，非常有善。辦理入住大樓備有餐廳及酒吧，可供上網，惟屋內Wi-fi接收比較弱，若要上網需到大樓。晚上出外走走，星星滿佈天空，非常美麗。值得再次入住。

Never again
The young staff was more interested to spend time on the phone then looking after costumers. Overheard multiple conversations where the staff complaint about costumers. We had nearly two hours with no electricity. When it was back on the first thing I heard “ at least costumers have nothing to complain about” that was said to other costumers. Hole property has no security lights. So going to the toilet in the night seems very unsafe. It smell of chlorine and air fresher and looked clean. But everything looks like it’s old , damage and not looked after. In the kitchen was minimal things for making a meal. So make sure you bring your own. Only two little fridges so not much space to storage your staff. My worries were just ignored and I was talked to like so rude.

Außen Hui - innen Pfui
Die Anlage mit den einzelnen Hütten ist schön angelegt und auch im Außenbereich gepflegt. Leider war unser Chalet (Nr.9) extrem heruntergewirtschaftet. Es geht uns nicht darum ob etwas alt ist. Die Polster der Stühle waren dreckig. Der Teppich im Chalet war komplett abgewohnt und dreckig. Der Vorhang zum Abtrennen des Schlafbereiches war kaputt und hing herunter. Das Fenster in der Toilette war ausgebrochen und nur noch mit einem Kabelbinder fixiert - man konnte es daher nicht mehr öffnen. Die Matrazen der Einzelbetten waren komlett durchgelegen - man lag eigentlich nur auf einem Holzbrett. Das ist nur ein Teil der Mängel. Für den Preis eine ABSOLUTE FRECHHEIT !!! Schade, da die Anlage sonst sehr schön wäre. Lieber auf der Fahrt zur Westküste in Wanaka oder Haast buchen und etwas mehr zahlen. Zum Glück hatten wir nur 1 Nacht gebucht.

Room with kitchen and bathroom was okay. Basin tap hot and cold was separate so need to mix the water manually, this can improved. It’s located in middle of all glaciers, very convenient to visit the most pristine glacier around it.

Overall I enjoyed my stay, the location made up for most of it and the cute lodge vibes were nice, the only down side is that we didn’t get the room we originally booked because of renovations which they only told us a day before but we got a small discount, our new room was still nice but no outdoor bath, they still let us use the outdoor bath but a warning would be nice that anyone can see you in the bath as it is kinda near the main road so be prepared, it also would of been a good heads up that there is little to no food within an hour, found out the next day there is a small pub but weren’t aware so we just ate 2 minute noodles. Could have been a little cleaner but otherwise it was a nice stay. Thanks.

A night stay.
It was a good place to stop over as we were driving from Franz Josef to Queenstown. The room did not have wifi. We have to go to the reception or another location to get wifi which is not so convenient. And beware as there were a lot of bees flying around. My friend was stung on his foot when he wore his shoe.
