Istory comes alive
Beautiful and historic hotel in the heart of San Antonio. Close to shopping and the River Walk. Staff is exceptional. The food in the Colonial Dining room was 5 star and the wait staff attended to our every need.

to a balcony room since I’m a Gold member and this is a VIP hotel. The room was great, but the street noise was very loud. It’s a historic hotel, so the windows were thin. Overall, it was a great stay in the historic part of the hotel.

Be a Part of History
Historic hotel next to the Alamo & River Center Mall. Stay where Teddy Roosevelt & the Rough Riders and Babe Ruth stayed before you. Well kept but missing conveniences such as an in-room mini-fridge. Bathroom is small so two cannot get ready at the same time. Only one elevator in the section that contained my room, but it seemed quick to operate. Staff were helpful and friendly.
