Nice stay
The place is nice, but rather well worn. There was no plug for the bathtub, and nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom. Almost all the parking was in the back, and no door on that side.

Roaches
There was a roach in our room on the 3rd floor. We killed it and changed rooms to the 2nd floor. Bed was comfortable in new room-no roaches. Shower was hard to control temperature. Only stayed 1 night left the next morning!

Okay
The room was nice and clean. The bedroom door was off level and there were no sheets or blankets nor pillows for me he pull out couch in the living room. Went down to the front desk and asked for them the desk person said go back to the room and someone will bring them, no one ever showed up! Breakfast was ok they didn’t have butter, jelly or cream cheese for toast and bagels.

Breakfast vs Rating
All ok but main disappointment is breakfast. Cold bread, before heating No cream, butter or peanut butter. Have jam in jar. Hot food scramble egg and beef i think! Should have atleast potato or something else to cater vegan too. Told them on first day and on 2nd day also dont have. Look like they dont have budget. Yogurt was frozen. Room was fine. Couch was not clean though, as if food sprinkle. No shower soap, lucky i got my own. They have only hand soap. Bed was comfortable no doubt.

Reservation problems
Reservation was prepaid for our daughter. She provided copies of the confirmed reservation we received which showed she was at correct address and date. Hotel could not find reservation in their system & our daughter had to make a separate, on-spot reservation using her credit card. Our MasterCard shows a pending charge on the room for the original reservation. You need to cancel this charge as we do not intend to pay twice for the same room on the same date. Call or email me if you have additional questions. Colin Robinson 828-493-5017 mobile. PS Hotel front desk hung up on us at least nine times when my daughter & I called to resolve the situation. This is the first time we have attempted to book with La Quinta. Not a good start for future business!

Disappointed- keep looking
Was disappointed in La Quinta quality. Disrepair everywhere. Not welcoming. Bad neighborhood also. While we were there a very nice SUV had drivers window broken. Breakfast was not deluxe. No decaf coffee. Instant oatmeal. Found a live bug in my room the first night. Shower water was hot but knob just spun around and around no off position. Lobby sparse grey unwelcome. Corporate should evaluate this. Not like any LQ I’ve ever stayed at.

Extremely disappointed.
It looked like either the management didn't do a good job training the cleaning staff, or the cleaning staff just didn't care. When we walked into the lobby to check-in, they had two large chairs (for guests?) that were covered in grime. I thought to myself, "Surely these chairs are being disposed of because they look so awful." That was not the case. It was their standards guest chairs for the check-in area. When we got to the room, we found that it was dirty, with spots all over the walls... on the carpet, on the sofa, and in the bathroom. It actually looked like they had attempted to make some bathroom repairs and things went wrong. The coffee maker didn't have the tray for the single serving packets of coffee, so we had to prepare it like tea — steeping it in the water. There were drilled holes in the furniture (coffee table and drawers). Additionally, the sink in the bathroom was missing a bolt for the handle to allow it to shift from cold to hot. It would turn on, but wouldn't change temperature. Two other details: we could hear airplanes landing all night long, which isn't surprising, but you would think it would be a little more soundproofed. And when we left, numerous cars parked in firezones, making it almost impossible to get out if you had a larger vehicle. I would have asked for another room, but we were so tired from the events of the week and had such an early morning, I didn't have it in me to go argue with the staff about getting a different room.

ATL airport late night stay
Booked the room to get some rest after flying in at 11pm. We travel often & this was the longest check in experience I've ever had. Hotel is very close to the airport, but by time we actually got into our room it was 12:30am. The gentlemen at the desk was polite but slower with computers. Only 3 people ahead of us checking in but would get skipped over if someone came up to buy snacks... Which took as long as check in for him to to ring up. The room itself was very nice but unfortunately did not give us much rest. Sleeping was difficult because we could hear people coming in and out of a door nearby all night that was directly behind the wall of the bed, so the headboard shakes when the door is closed and lots of noise from the lobby in front of room (ice machine, staff opening doors, ppl coming in late). The smoke detector occasional beeped through the night, then the maid started vacuuming in front of our room at 9am. We had asked for late check out since we didn't get into the room until late, but still woke up to the maid knocking just before 11am. I expected more peace & quiet from a king executive suite.

Review lies! Total dump
The hotel ratings are a lie. We arrived to see a huge part of the outside overhang damaged. The room had a ripped area on the headboard. Room was dirty and stains everywhere. 2 towels for 4 guest. When I called down to front desk I was told to come and get them. I told them about the gross headboard and silence about it. It looks like the room was falling apart and they tried to cover up all the dirt and damage and did an awful job. Absolute scam that this has an 8 on reviews. Filthy, damaged stuff, tiny beds. Awful. Will not use hotels.com again if this is what I get.

Bathroom was gross. Floors were dirty. Mirror was broken. Smell was so bad!!! OUR CAR GOT BROKEN INTO WHILE WE WERE ASLEEP & they didnt care at all I took pictures but its not letting me add them to this review
