The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.

Good Service, Wonderful Staff, Good location, but TERRIBLE wifi. French Market Inn needs to install good WIFI extender and/or modem/routers for the guest!! I had to use my data using hotspot, as the hotel's wifi is terrible, weak, and slow, sometimes no internet. I cannot believe that any decent hotel neglect the essential part of the service.

I wish we had explicitly been told there is designated street parking in front of the building to use while you check in, but the staff was extremely helpful in getting the car registered in the lot quickly.

We absolutely loved our stay. We had a King “no windows” and it was so incredibly quiet every night. The pool and pool house were so nice. Perfect temperature, and fresh ice to lounge around with drinks. 20 minute walk to Bywater brunches, close to 5 minutes to Canal or Bourbon.

We just loved it here. Worried about the room with no window that I chose but it really allowed for a restful night sleep. The hotel itself is just so super cool and convenient to everything French Quarter and FQ adjacent. Staff was really, really nice as well.

Perfect Stay in New Orleans

Hotel was perfectly situated for a French Quarter stay. Far enough to be away from the noise and bustle of Bourbon Street while easy to walk to everything. Staff was absolutely fantastic, had a small issue and they resolved it before we could even ask. Amazing stay, thank you so much!

I absolutely loved every aspect of this hotel! The building, the room design, the excellent location, and the fantastic staff all exceeded expectations. My only minor suggestion would be to switch to larger, refillable toiletries in containers instead of small, disposable bottles—it would provide better quantity and reduce plastic waste. Regardless, this hotel will be my first choice the next time I visit NOLA. Tip: Ditch the car! The hotel’s fantastic location puts you within walking distance of all the major attractions and streetcar stops, which is a huge bonus since parking in the area is prohibitively expensive.
