Good location, large room, pretty hotel
Very nice large room with a balcony, the pool was nice to relax in, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, the inclusive breakfast was simple but enjoyable. The hotel is a very interesting building. We had a very pleasant stay here. The location was good for us, we could walk around San Jose from here.

Back street oasis!
Lovely small back street hotel which feels like an oasis in the bustling city. Easy walking distance to all the main sights. Helpful staff on reception. cafe and bars on the doorstep and a handy store for the essentials around the corner.

Well maintained hotel. Convenient to most attractions in San Jose. Extremely friendly and helpful owner and staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Overall, definitely recommend.

Trevlig personal och faciliteter. Centralt men lite skumt område, dock kändes hotellet säkert och hade grind med lås. Trevligt med pool och gym. Stor och bra frukost med tillgång till fri dryck. Rummet var något lyhört men vi bodde i ett av dom äldre, dock städat och rent varje dag. Rummet hade ingen ac men en väl fungerande takfläkt. Överlag bra vistelse.

Such a beautiful property - truly a hidden gem in the historic district. Reminded me so much of New Orleans. All the rooms are different and unique with such beautiful furniture and decor. The floor tile and ceilings are stunning. Staff and owner are very accomodating and gracious. I will definitely stay here again.

The breakfast definitely needs improving i would even pay a little more for better breakfast and lastly bed bugs were in our bed we have bites around our body at first we thought it was something else until we got a second opinion.

Santo Tomas Hotel is an OASIS in the city and is beautiful and well-kept and the staff is so kind! The city around is walkable with many small shops in every direction. The parks downtown are lovely and have beautiful flowers and San Jose is filled with public art.

The property & amenities are wonderful. I have stayed at several hotels in San Jose and Santo Tomas is by far my favorite. I will be returning here each time I visit San Jose in the future. The rooms were well maintained and very clean. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and pool. But by far the best part of Santo Tomas is the staff! All staff members were exceptionally kind and responsive. Special thanks to Jeremy and the hotel’s owner, Thomas, for being so attentive and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay at Santo Tomas!
