Very convenient location walkable to nearly everything including some good restaurants and breakfast spots. The building is a bit rustic but has all the basic amenities. Our water pump / plumbing was a bit noisy but not to the point it effected our sleep.

The only real upside to this place is its central location—if you're just looking for somewhere to sleep and don’t care much about comfort, it might work for you. But be prepared for several inconveniences. First, check-in is not at the building itself; it’s a few blocks away, which was not clearly communicated beforehand until you arrive. There’s no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage, you’ll be carrying it up multiple staircases. You’ll also need to juggle five different keys just to get to your room—yes, five. Once inside, the room smelled musty and moldy, and it looked nothing like the photos on Expedia. What was advertised as a bright, clean room was actually dark, dated, and worn. On top of that, there’s no housekeeping service during your stay, which made things feel even more neglected. This could be a last-resort option for someone on a tight budget who just wants a place to sleep near the center—but manage your expectations carefully.

Stairs, stairs, stairs!

Great location, I admit. Property itself is very difficult to be in. Top floor, no elevator, 5 metal keys to open 5 different locks. Avoid if you are not in the best shape of your life!

The shower was cold (we had a little bit of warm water for few seconds only) The instructions to the get there were not clear. We had to go to an other address to get the Keys and we were told about it at the last minute (we were already to the hotel and had to walk from there to get the keys )

La atención de este lugar es horrible, un lugar que está en una buena ubicación pero que es imposible estar en la noche del ruido que general varios pubs de la zona, mal insonorizado, la atención deja mucho que desear, personal de recepción muy mal educados y muy desagradable. Para nada recomiendo este sitio no entiendo cómo sigue en funcionamiento, en fotos se ve decente pero al llegar tras de que los escalones son infinitos la entrada huele muy mal.

Water was out for 2 days and the 2 days prior had only cold water. Restroom had mold around the shower and the floor. Property is large & beautiful though. High ceilings and great view. Very central to the Duomo.

5 (five) gates with keys to get into your room- endless steps to get to room makes this hard to recommend. The price was less expensive than others I stayed at and the location was excellent, however the lack of ammenties and ridiculous amount of keys and locks to go thru and the endless steps make it a 2 star at best. P.S. main door is very difficult to open as you have to slam into door with full force if your body to push it open.

Très bien situé mais l’état général de la chambre très moyen. Pas de couverture ni couette , nous en avons demandé par mail mais aucune réponse à notre mail !! Les fenêtres ne ferment pas bien donc l’air passe. Nous avons dormi avec seulement un drap et les serviettes de en guise de couverture … De plus, impossible de prendre une douche et bec de l eau chaude en continu… Globalement plus que médiocre .

Great location

This was a very cool old building in a perfect location- 4 minute walk to Duomo. It reminded us of staying in an old mansion. The rooms were large and the patio was great. The only negative I would say is that it is very sparse for such a beautiful building. Just adding a few more touches would make it seem perfect.

The mosquitos made it unbearable. We were each bitten over 15 times during our stay while we slept. The staff did provide extra pillows upon request and they did pour bleach down the shower after the septic smell occurred after showering.
