Room was available way before scheduled check in and was clean with easy access to the lobby and outside. Staff was very helpful with getting the vehicle parked off the street and getting us settled.

The AC was good, the room was clean when I first arrived but housekeeping doesn’t really make it much more clean after your stay. They only change the towels and bins. I didn’t have a bedside lamp or hairdryer in my room which would have been nice. The facilities do need a lot of TLC but the age of the property has a very charming quality and the courtyard is beautiful. I would request to not stay in the lobby rooms as it is incredibly loud. I had to swap rooms for a courtyard room and after that I had a pleasant stay.

Really run down. So much potential but needs a good clean and maintenance. No coffee machines in room although coffee is available in reception. No hot water during our stay but were offered a room swap, just for how long it hasn’t been working or will it ever be fixed don’t know. We were refunded the $9.95 per night fees as compo. Great location, bit grotty oh and it’s haunted. A ghost busters/paranormal tour rocks through around 8 til 10 in the quaint courtyard. If you want something different stay here but not really the best. Would not stay again.

Leroy, in particular, was super helpful and always went out of his way to ensure that our needs were met. Whether we needed recommendations for local restaurants or assistance with navigating the city, he was always happy to lend a hand. The housekeeper was also deserving of special mention. She took great pride in her work, making our room feel welcoming and clean on every request. Her attention to detail was impressive, and she always made sure that our room was stocked with fresh towels and amenities. Throughout our stay, we felt like we were treated like family, and the staff's dedication to providing exceptional service was evident in every interaction. From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed, our experience at the hotel was nothing short of wonderful.

The property was unclean and in very poor condition. Toilet in two rooms would not flush properly and the shower had awful water pressure and would not drain well. The water from my shower the night before was still in the tub when I woke the next day. There was peeling paint on the walls and door, visible dirt on window blinds and walls. I would never stay in this place again. Please do your research before staying.

Our stay was not quite what we expected, originally our room was towards the courtyard, However we were moved last minute to a room attached to the lobby and next to the street. It was unbelievably loud and hard to sleep, the lobby echos and every word can be heard in the room. We know the street and environment can be loud in general, but the lobby playing music or a show all night and guests being checked in during the morning hours caused a lot of discomfort. Cockroaches in the shower too….if you have end up booking maybe just ask to not be in this room.

It’s a hotel with a lot of charm and history. The staff were so great and the location is perfect to walk to the shops and restaurants. I didn’t like that the pool is a 6 min walk away. Also, the air conditioning didn’t work the greatest. The staff tried to remedy the situation, but it was just a little too warm for our liking. Of course, it’s an original hotel, so it’s not an unexpected problem, just wanted to let people know in case they want to bring a fan, etc. overall, it was a very nice stay.
