房間整潔度還行，沒有像其他評論寫的那麼誇張，只有浴缸的邊邊有一點小汙漬，但不影響使用，以每天三千塊的住宿費在英國來說很便宜。 早餐的選擇算豐富，培根、荷包蛋、烤麵包、煎蛋、薯餅等應有盡有，飲料方面有蘋果汁、柳橙汁、牛奶、咖啡包(沒有咖啡機)等。

It is a bit far from Waverley railway station, walking for 35minutes. Have to walk along a steep road before reaching the reception entrance. It’s tiring especially you carry something or not a young guy. Overall, the room is warm and cosy, value for money for a reasonably cheap price in Edinburgh.

The shinning
The rooms are extremely dates amd walling through the halls was giving the shining vibes. The room smelt very old and mouldy. Bathroom wasnt very clean. Couldnt even have a shower for our night out or in the morning as there was no hot water. Paid £89 for the night and tbh we would have been better booking a hostel. Front of desk were nice and friendly though being the only good thing about or stay there. Only giving one pillow also which are horrendous

Very disappointed. The room was dirty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The carpet was uplifting. No lock on the ensuite door.

Ok for a base for one night.
Good parking available for £7.50 for 24 hours, for Edinburgh I suppose is ok. Staff friendly. Three lifts to above ground levels. Room ok looked clean and tidy but there were various marked around the walls and skirtings, bath panel coming off and flooring in bathroom coming away from the walls. With this all said it was ok for a one night stay and yes I would stay again for a night if I needed to.

Go elsewhere.
Arrived after a long drive, and on check-in, was not told what time breakfast was served. Went down the next morning to find it had finished. Staff couldn’t refund because Hotels.com hadn’t sent the funds yet. Contacted Hotels.com to be told “can’t refund the breakfast as it was free”. I paid for a room, and selected breakfast as an option at £24, but according to Hotels.com, that means instead of a room costing £42, I selected a room for £66, that included a free breakfast. This WAS NOT the case. I paid an extra, optional charge of £24 for one breakfast (not exactly cheap!), but Hotels,com re-word it to make it look like I’ve selected a different room with free breakfast (oddly enough, the exact same room as one without). Wasn’t told about breakfast times on arrival (and in all fairness, I forgot to ask). Room was freezing cold even with the pathetic little electric heater on full (barely gave out any heat at all). After spending some time speaking with the staff about the breakfast issue, returned to my room to quickly change and get my bags, to get a knock on the door at 10:04 and greeted with the words “check out is 10am. That is now”. Rude? Appalling. Gave no appreciation that I’d spent 20 minutes at reception waiting for staff to try and find out what had happened about breakfast….. Definitely won’t return. Won’t be using Hotels.com again.

Hotel was ok but a bit dated. Got a room which was spacious but the TV signal was poor so there were delays on all channels. Had complimentry coffee and tea but there was no teaspoon. Room could have done with better heating.

Britannia Hotel- Edinburgh
Quick check-in/check out service, staff were pleasant. Room was clean, good bathroom utilities however there was a draft from the window. Great storage for clothes and a large mirror for getting ready. Definitely would reccomend- affordable and decent quality. It was also a short 5 minute walk from the Dean Village which was stunning to walk around, and not too far from the centre.

Horrible
Réservation via hôtel.com d’une chambre avec fenêtre, arrivé sur place, je récupère une chambre au fin fond des sous-sol sans fenêtre. Le lit n’avait pas été changé et il subsistait encore des poiles et autres traces de l’ancien client. Les toilettes n’avait pas été nettoyé et la chambre n’a ni ventilation ni fenêtre avec une odeur de moisi. Nous sommes allés voir la dame qui était à l’accueil, mais celle-ci n’a pas daigné s’occuper de nous et a refilé le bébé à son collègue. Celui-ci beaucoup plus sympathique et aimable nous a aidé à trouver une chambre digne. Je ne recommande pas cette hôtel car j’ai l’impression qu’ils veulent vous arnaquer!
